NRB NXT
Christian media needs the next generation of communicators. NRB NXT is where students can begin preparing for that future. NRB NXT connects educational institutions, faculty, students, and young professionals with the people and experiences to grow in the field of Christian media — while becoming part of an association that advocates for and defends their rights and freedoms. Membership opens the door to:
A network in the Christian media community. Connect with Christian media professionals and other students who share a passion for using media to communicate the Gospel.
Real-world experience. Get free registration to the NRB International Christian Media Convention, the largest gathering of Christian communicators and learn from industry leaders, build your network, and discover internships and career opportunities.
Opportunities to put your skills to work. Take part in competitions to create, collaborate, create under pressure, and showcase student productions.

What does it cost to participate?
There is a $100 fee for each team for the NRB NXT Challenges. The fee for each Production Competition category is $30 per entry.
What is the deadline to submit my production?
The deadline to submit for Production Competitions is November 1. The deadline for Challenges is November 5.
How do teams work?
Teams must consist of students currently enrolled in and attending the same NRB Full Member Educational Institution that offers a communication or film program and/or a student-run broadcast.
How many participants per team?
A maximum of three students per team can compete, except for the Film Challenge, which accepts up to four students per team.
Should I attend convention?
Yes, absolutely! It’s free for NRB NXT members to attend and a great opportunity to network with Christian media professionals and fellow students. You can also participate in the Smartphone Challenge, which is exclusive to Convention. Plus, winners from the Challenges and Production Competitions are recognized and awarded at Convention.
