Jim Sanders, Chairman
Ambassador Advertising Agency
Jim Sanders is a Principal and Executive Vice President at Ambassador Advertising Agency. He helps guide the direction of the organization and its vision as well as the creative and technical aspects of the agency. Jim is a Co-Founder of the Christian Radio Consortium. He has served on the Board of Directors for NRB since 1999. He is also the President of Amb-OS Media, LLC, a subsidiary of Ambassador Advertising. He holds an M.BA from the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business and a B.A. in communications from Biola University.
Tony Hart, 1st Vice Chair
The Grand Old Gospel Fellowship (GOGF)
Dr. Tony Hart was born in 1954 to Dr. B. Sam and Joyce Hart. He has worked with several church plants and seen God establish them as testimonies in their communities to His glory. Tony has preached in area-wide crusades and led several international mission trips training pastors in developing countries. He has experience as a Youth Pastor, Radio Station Manager, and Program Producer. Since 1992 he has served as Senior Pastor of Montco Bible Fellowship in Lansdale, PA. In 1998 he took over from his father as President of GOGF Ministries. Tony has also written a monthly column for the local newspaper and is the author of the books "Winning Is Everything," “2 Tablets for Your Marriage,” and “Table Talk with Jesus.” He has taken his education seriously and earned his undergraduate degree from Philadelphia Biblical University (Cairn University). He has completed a Master of Divinity and a Doctorate of Ministry from Biblical Theological Seminary (now Missio Seminary).
Dave Young, 2nd Vice Chair
Blount Communications Group
As Vice President at Blount Communications, Dave Young is privileged to lead a team broadcasting the Gospel in difficult places in New England. He also serves as Vice President of Good News Ministries International, ministering in the interior of Liberia through radio, pastoral training, educational initiatives, and more. And is helping to develop a new ministry called Gospel for Portugal. Dave has served NRB as a board member, committee member, and currently as Chair of the International Committee. He and his wife Rachel have been married for 40 years and have two daughters and two grandchildren.
Sharon Geiger, Secretary
KCBI-FM
Sharon Geiger is the Assistant General Manager/Outreach Director at KCBI FM, a ministry of First Dallas Media. Sharon seeks to help KCBI fulfill its purpose of communicating the Good News of Jesus’ love and transforming power and its mission to be a discipleship force in Dallas-Fort Worth by overseeing KCBI’s All Teaching platforms, teaching ministry relationships, and mobilizing listeners to be the hands and feet of Jesus in the community. Sharon, an award-winning broadcast journalist, has traveled on assignment to many areas of the U.S. and around the world. She also worked with MEDIAlliance and Sharing International, training Christian broadcasters internationally. Sharon and her husband, Don, are grateful, proud parents and grandparents and are active in their church and community.
Tom Hayes, Treasurer
Insight for Living Ministries
Tom serves as Executive Vice President and Chief International Officer for Insight for Living Ministries, the Bible teaching ministry of Chuck Swindoll. He leads their global efforts to contextualize Insight for Living messages, Chuck’s books, and other ministry resources. Currently, IFL ministers in more than 80 countries as they work to fulfill their calling to minister in all 195 countries of the world. Since 2010 Tom has served on the Insight for Living Ministries Board of Directors and serves on the board of several other global ministry organizations. Tom and his
wife, Katie, were married in 2001 and have two sons.
Debra Fraser, At-Large Member
Total Living International
Debra Fraser is President/CEO of Total Living International (TLI), a Christian media communications group. Debra began her career in television broadcasting by launching and managing KFCB TV 42 in the San Francisco market in 1982. She ultimately programmed and produced shows for three additional stations before joining TLI in 1998. There, she launched TLI’s Chicago-based Affiliate Network in 2000 and later became General Manager of TLI’s Northern California broadcast station. In 2016 Debra was named President/CEO of TLI. Under her leadership, TLI launched its digital platforms, international partnerships, and developed a local market presence in two of the top 10 markets. Throughout the years she has hosted several programs, including “The Counsel of Women,” “The Power of Womanhood,” and Emmy Award-winning “People Like You.” Under her direction, TLI has received several NRB awards including Television Station of the Year for six years. Debra has served several terms on the NRB Board of Directors. She is a team builder and considers it a blessing to be a member of the NRB Executive Committee since 2016 serving as Chair of multiple subcommittees. She and Jack have been married for 43 years and enjoy spending time with their daughters and sons-in-law whenever possible. Debra finds fulfillment in reaching people for Christ through visual media, standing for the Gospel, and working with like-minded ministries to further the Kingdom.
Lauren Libby, At-Large Member
Trans World Radio
Lauren has been at the helm of TWR since 2008. He formerly served with The Navigators ministry in Colorado, in various senior executive roles. For most of his adult life, Lauren has been instrumental in helping to bring Christ to the nations and develop spiritual laborers for God’s kingdom. He speaks to numerous audiences and hosts a radio feature called “Get Hope,” heard on over 100 radio stations nationwide. He is chairman of the board of New Horizons Foundation and serves on the boards of Educational Communications of Colorado and the National Religious Broadcasters. Lauren and his wife, June, reside in Cary, North Carolina.
Roger Lonnquist, At-Large Member
Your Network of Praise/New Life Africa Satellite Networks
Roger Lonnquist is President & General Manager of Your Network of Praise / New Life Africa Satellite Networks, which operates over 70 radio facilities in the western US, and two satellite radio channels in Africa, which are carried by numerous FM stations in 18 countries across Africa. New Life Africa also partners in the operation of two stations in Tanzania, and one in Liberia. Roger is active in NRB, currently serving as a member of the Board of Directors, Executive Committee, International Committee, and the NRB President’s Council. He previously served on the TV Committee. He is Vice-Chairman of a K-12 Christian school. He and his wife of 32 years, Janice, own the KJJC Media Group. This group operates a talk radio station in Salt Lake City and three television stations.
Tim McDermott, At-Large Member
Tim McDermott CPA LLC Accounting and Consulting
Tim McDermott is a broadcaster and a CPA. He has served in broadcasting for over 40 years - 27 of which as the President/General Manager of KSBJ/Houston. He has served in numerous industry positions including NRB Radio Chair and was the founding Chairman of Christian Music Broadcasters (CMB). For over 20 years he has and continues to host a weekly worship radio show – “Enter His Gates.” Tim has a passion to see organizations thrive, and mentors nonprofit and broadcasting leaders around the world. In addition to his broadcasting experience, Tim is also a CPA with Sommerville and Associates where he prepares individual and nonprofit taxes and does financial consulting. Tim has been married to Trudy for over 40 years, and they are blessed with three married daughters and seven grandchildren.
Star Parker, At-Large Member
Center for Urban Renewal and Education (CURE)
Star Parker is one of the names mentioned on the shortlist when anyone speaks of national black conservative leaders. She is the Founder and President of the Center for Urban Renewal and Education (CURE), a public policy think-tank that promotes market-based solutions to fight poverty. Parker founded CURE in 1995 to bring new ideas to policy discussions on how to transition America’s poor from government dependency to self-sufficiency. Parker serves on the Board of Directors for the Leadership Institute and the National Religious Broadcasters (NRB), as well as NRB’s Executive Committee. She is the host of “CURE America” with Star Parker, a weekly news digest airing on NRB-TV and the TCT Network. Parker has addressed more than 250 colleges and universities about anti-poverty initiatives, has authored several books, is a regular commentator on national television and radio networks, and is a nationally syndicated columnist with Creators Syndicate. She also regularly consults with both federal and state legislators on how best to fix our nation’s most distressed communities, including joining the White House Opportunity Initiative advisory team in 2017, appointment by Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell to the U.S. Frederick Douglass Bicentennial Commission in 2018, and appointment by President Trump to the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights California Advisory Committee in 2020.
