Jim Sanders, Chairman
Ambassador Advertising Agency
Jim Sanders is a Principal and Executive Vice President at Ambassador Advertising Agency. He helps guide the direction of the organization and its vision as well as the creative and technical aspects of the agency. Jim is a Co-Founder of the Christian Radio Consortium. He has served on the Board of Directors for NRB since 1999. He is also the President of Amb-OS Media, LLC, a subsidiary of Ambassador Advertising. He holds an M.BA from the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business and a B.A. in communications from Biola University.
Tony Hart, 1st Vice Chair
The Grand Old Gospel Fellowship (GOGF)
Dr. Tony Hart was born in 1954 to Dr. B. Sam and Joyce Hart. He has worked with several church plants and seen God establish them as testimonies in their communities to His glory. Tony has preached in area wide crusades, lead several international mission trips training Pastors indeveloping countries. He has worked as a Radio Station Manager & Program Producer. Since 1992 he has served as Senior Pastor of Montco Bible Fellowship in PA. In 1998 he took over from his father as President of GOGF Ministries. Tony also written a monthly column for the local newspaper and is the author of the books "Winning Is Everything", “2 Tablets for Your Marriage” and “Table Talk with Jesus”. He has a Master of Divinity and a Doctorate of Ministry from Biblical Theological Seminary. Tony married Carol in 1977 and she became his partner in ministry. They have four children and eleven grandchildren.
Debra Fraser, 2nd Vice Chair
TLN Media
Debra Fraser currently serves as President of TLN Media. Her television and media ministry experience has expanded over 40 years. Debra worked to launch the ministry’s San Francisco full-power broadcast station in 1998 where she would later be named General Manager. Debra built the ministry’s Affiliate Network of stations sharing programming to over 100 like-minded outlets. She was named President of Total Living International in 2016. Her introduction to cable and broadcast began in her teens. Her passion and drive led to nearly 12 years as an executive with Family Christian Broadcasting (FCB) where she helped launch KFCB TV 42 in Concord, California, and eventually oversaw operations, sales, and programming for multiple stations. Whether in an interview or business setting, her passion is to provide an opportunity for every person on the planet to hear the Good News of Jesus Christ through media. Under her leadership, TLN Media received several NRB and Emmy awards, for a program she hosted. She serves on the NRB Television Committee, Board of Directors, Executive Team, and currently chairs the Public Policy and Awards Committees.
Sharon Geiger, Secretary
KCBI-FM
Sharon Geiger is the Assistant General Manager/Outreach Director at KCBI FM, a ministry of First Dallas Media. She seeks to help KCBI fulfill its purpose of communicating the Good News of Jesus’ love and transforming power and its mission to be a discipleship force in Dallas-Fort Worth by overseeing KCBI’s All Teaching platforms, teaching ministry relationships, and mobilizing listeners to be the hands and feet of Jesus in the community. Sharon is in her second term of service on the Board of Directors for NRB. As an award-winning broadcast journalist, Sharon has traveled on assignment to many areas of the U.S. and around the world. She has also trained Christian broadcasters internationally with MediAlliance and Sharing International. Sharon and her husband, Don, are grateful, proud parents and grandparents and are active in their church and community.
Tim McDermott, Treasurer
Tim McDermott CPA LLC Accounting and Consulting
Tim McDermott has served in broadcasting for over 40 years – 27 of which as the President/General Manager of KSBJ/Houston. He has served in numerous industry positions including NRB Executive Committee, Finance Committee, Radio Chair and was the founding Chairman of Christian Music Broadcasters. Tim has a passion to see organizations thrive, and mentors nonprofit and broadcasting CEOs around the U.S. and around the world. He also hosts a weekly radio worship program - Enter His Gates. In addition to his broadcasting experience, Tim is also a CPA and is the Assistant Tax Manager for Sommerville and Associates where he prepares individual and nonprofit taxes. He has been married to Trudy for over 41 years and they have three married daughters and seven grandchildren.
Lauren Libby, At-Large Member
TWR International
Lauren has been at the helm of TWR International since 2008. He formerly served with The Navigators ministry in Colorado, in various senior executive roles. For most of his adult life, Lauren has been instrumental in helping to bring Christ to the nations and develop spiritual laborers for God’s kingdom. He speaks to numerous audiences and hosts a radio feature called “Get Hope,” heard on over 100 radio stations nationwide. He is chairman of the board of New Horizons Foundation and serves on the boards of Educational Communications of Colorado and the National Religious Broadcasters. Lauren and his wife, June, reside in Cary, North Carolina.
Roger Lonnquist, At-Large Member
Your Network of Praise/New Life Africa Satellite Networks
Roger Lonnquist is President & General Manager of Your Network of Praise / New Life Africa Satellite Networks, which operates over 70 radio facilities in the western US, and two satellite radio channels in Africa, which are carried by numerous FM stations in 18 countries across Africa. New Life Africa also partners in the operation of two stations in Tanzania, and one in Liberia. Roger is active in NRB, currently serving as a member of the Board of Directors, Executive Committee, International Committee, and the NRB President’s Council. He previously served on the TV Committee. He is Vice-Chairman of a K-12 Christian school. He and his wife of 32 years, Janice, own the KJJC Media Group. This group operates a talk radio station in Salt Lake City and three television stations.
Star Parker, At-Large Member
Center for Urban Renewal and Education (CURE)
Star Parker is the founder and president of the Center for Urban Renewal and Education (CURE). CURE aims to fight poverty and restore dignity through scholarship supporting faith, freedom, and personal responsibility. As a nationally syndicated columnist, author, and speaker, she has addressed over 225 colleges and universities. Parker's is the host of CURE America with Star Parker, a leading platform for exploring cultural, political, and racial issues. Parker’s holds a bachelor's degree in marketing and international business from Woodbury University and has received numerous awards and commendations for her work in public policy issues.
David P. Santrella, At-Large Member
Salem Media Group, Inc.
In his native Chicago, Dave worked for various local radio stations. Dave joined Salem in 2001 to manage the Chicago market and progressed steadily within Salem becoming regional VP/GM and Ops VP. In 2010 he became President of Radio, in 2015 President of Broadcast Media, and in 2022 became Chief Executive Officer of Salem Media Group. From June 2021- 2023 he served as the Joint Board Chair for the NAB (National Association of Broadcasters) and served as Radio Board Chair prior to that. Now, he sits on the board of the NAB’s Leadership Foundation. He has been featured in the Radio Ink “The 40 Most Powerful People in Radio,” and was interviewed as “Motivator, Innovator, Warrior” on their cover in December 2021.
John Sorensen, At-Large Member
Evangelism Explosion International
Dr. John Sorensen is the President & CEO of Evangelism Explosion International, a ministry dedicated to equipping and training believers worldwide to witness for Jesus Christ. Before being called into ministry full-time with Evangelism Explosion, John worked on regional and national TV and radio ads, as well as for sound design for film. John was honored with numerous local, regional, and national awards like Best Short-Film at the New York Film Festival, Best of Show at the Columbus International Film Festival, and PromaxDBA’s Gold Medallion for the best radio ad of 1995. Within the ministry, John has served as the Director of Marketing, Vice President of Ministry Advancement, and Executive Vice President before being appointed President in 2008, an office held previously only by EE’s founder, Dr. D. James Kennedy. John is married to Ann, has four adult children, and lives in the Appalachian Mountains of western North Carolina.
