Dr. Ron Harris began his broadcast career in 1966, and has worked professionally in radio, television, and church media, along with serving as a professor of communications at Southwestern Baptist Seminary and Dallas Baptist University.
He is a graduate of TCU and DBU, where he has also served on the Board of Trustees and as Chairman of the Board. Ron Harris is the founder and president of MEDIAlliance International, a ministry that helps build up Christian media leaders in over 40 countries through training, mentoring, and encouragement as they share the Gospel and biblical truth in their own cultures. Dr. Harris is a past Chairman of the NRB Board of Directors and has been an NRB member since 1981. Ron is currently the chairman of the NRB Board of Governors. Ron and his wife Judy live in Arlington, Texas.

Richard P. Bott, Sr., is Founder and Chairman Emeritus of the 120 station Bott Radio Network (founded 1962).
A Christian broadcaster since 1952, he served on the NRB Board of Directors for 60 years, including service on the NRB Executive Committee, and is a former NRB Vice President. In 2005, he received the NRB Milestone Award, and in 2008, he was inducted into the NRB Hall of Fame. He is the recipient of the Dred Scott Freedom Award (2015). Dick and Sherley, his bride of 71 years, have four children (including one in Heaven), 10 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. They live in Leawood, Kansas.

He served on the board of directors for 33 years and as chairman of the board for six years. He was also one of the founders of the Fellowship of European Broadcasters (FEB) and COICOM which serves Christian broadcasters in Latin America.

After graduating from university, he worked as a Peace Corps volunteer with Educational TV in Colombia, South America. He began his five-decade Christian media career as a Spanish radio announcer with FEBC. He served as Media Director for evangelist Luis Palau for 13 years, then as a bilingual TV news producer for CBN for 20 years. He helped found COICOM, the Latin American equivalent of National Religious Broadcasters, and ComunicadoresUSA for Hispanic communicators. In the U.S. Stan founded and produced the weekly TV news programs “Christian World News” and “Mundo Cristiano,” aired internationally by CBN. Nev Larson is celebrating 57 years (since 1966) with Crawford Broadcasting in management of their Buffalo/Toronto 110,000-watt WDCX-FM Christian station, and more recently as director of Christian programming for Crawford’s major market stations.
Nev has served for many years on the NRB Board of Directors, and on many of the NRB Standing Committees. Nev and his wife, Sue, have been married for 59 years, and have three children: their oldest son Erik called home to Heaven suddenly at age 32; son Brett is General Manager of Crawford’s FM and AM Buffalo/Toronto stations (WDCX & WDCZ), WDCX-AM Rochester, and WXJC-FM & AM, Birmingham/Huntsville; and daughter Krista is a pastor’s wife and a hospital psychologist in Virginia. Nev and Sue have been blessed with nine wonderful grandchildren.

During that time Wayne also served on the board of National Religious Broadcasters, From 2001-2004 Wayne was involved in leadership for NRB, Christian Music Broadcasters and Mission America Coalition In 2004, Wayne was invited by Moody Bible Institute in Chicago to serve as Manager of WMBI AM/FM in Chicago and eventually was promoted to Vice President of Broadcasting for Moody In 2008, God called Wayne to serve as global radio as President/CEO of HCJB Global, now Reach Beyond. In 2016, Wayne kind of retired but continues to serve Christian media as Executive Liaison for Far East Broadcasting and Global Ambassador for PraiseLive radio . Dr. Paul Virts
Dr. Paul Virts is a retired broadcast executive, media research specialist, and consultant. As an executive he served for 13 years as senior vice president for media at University of Northwestern (MN) and for four years as COO of Leading the Way with Dr. Michael Youssef.
Most recently he conducted donor and media research for consultancy DickersonBakker for 7 years. Earlier he was the manager of marketing research at CBN and taught full-time and part-time at Regent University. He plans to continue to provide research consulting with broadcast ministries. Paul first attended NRB in 1980 and served on the NRB Board and various NRB committees for nearly 20 years.
