On August 30, Hurricane Idalia made landfall on the Florida Big Bend region, unleashing winds reaching a velocity of 125mph and an intensive deluge of rainfall. This catastrophic meteorological event, classified as a Category 3 storm, resulted in a substantial power outage that impacted tens of thousands of residents in Florida.
