“Unplanned” Actress Ashley Bratcher to Discuss ‘Being Christian in Hollywood’ at NRB 2020

NRB | December 19, 2019 | NRB News

Actress and producer Ashley Bratcher will speak during a special panel session on “Being Christian in Hollywood (and in the secular world)” at the NRB 2020 Christian Media Convention taking place February 25-28, 2020, in Nashville, Tennessee.

Bratcher is most recognized for her breakout role as the star of the box office hit Unplanned, the inspiring true story that chronicles the transformation of a Planned Parenthood clinic director to pro-life advocate. Bratcher’s commitment to stories of hope has garnered her recognition as a name talent in uplifting and redemptive films.

“We are excited to have Ashley Bratcher join us at our Convention and are thankful for her vocal support for life in an industry that tends operate counter to conservative values,” said Troy Miller, NRB’s Interim CEO. “Being a Christian in any secular setting can be challenging – especially in these times – and is perhaps more so in the entertainment industry, where conservatives are often shunned. Our NRB Talk on ‘Being Christian in Hollywood’ will be empowering for any Christ follower who may face hostility for what they believe and who they are.”

Bratcher will be among the dozens scheduled to speak throughout NRB’s annual Convention – the largest nationally and internationally recognized event dedicated solely to the field of Christian communications. Others speakers at the four-day gathering include Ravi Zacharias, Chairman of the Board at Ravi Zacharias International Ministries; Gov. Mike Huckabee, Host of Huckabee; Andrew Brunson, the U.S. pastor who was unjustly imprisoned in Turkey for nearly two years before his release in October 2018; DeVon Franklin, President & CEO of Franklin Entertainment; writing/directing/producing duo Cary Solomon and Chuck Konzelman, whose films include the God’s Not Dead franchise and Unplanned; Janet Parshall, Host of In the Market with Janet Parshall; Allie Stuckey, Host of Relatable; among many others.
