Shape the Message and Be Equipped for the ‘Future of Values-Driven Media’

NRB | February 5, 2025 | Industry

From streaming platforms to traditional broadcast formats, the audience for faith-focused news, information, and entertainment is growing.

A panel discussion at NRB 2025 on “The Future of Values-Driven Media” will bring together top communicators to discuss the world of media that connects with listeners and viewers through shared faith and values.

“In today’s media environment, you need to have reach and impact,” said Adele Malpass, who will be moderating the panel discussion. “Go where the listeners are.”

Malpass, president of the Daily Caller News Foundation, pointed out the growing power of various forms of online media for the future for values-driven journalism and communications.

“This election was the podcast election—people want unedited information from newsmakers,” she said. “Video is the fastest growing market in media, and it’s needed for all social media platforms.”

With a background in local reporting, Malpass has long championed the core tenets of American journalism—pursuing facts, holding power accountable, and defending free speech. After earning a master’s degree from Columbia University’s School of International Affairs and Public Policy, she worked in politics, serving on Capitol Hill and later as an analyst for the Senate Budget Committee.

Malpass went on to roles at CNBC, the Republican Platform Committee in 2012, and as chairwoman of the Manhattan Republican Party. In 2016, as county chair during the Trump campaign, she helped organize key events and delegate appointments for the Trump family at the RNC. She later became a national political reporter at RealClearPolitics before stepping into her current role at the Daily Caller.

Malpass will be joined by leading experts in value-based media, journalism, and communications:
