With the upcoming national midterm elections just days away, Salem Radio Network (SRN), in partnership with Salem News Channel (SNC), will host an Election Day coverage marathon, “Decision 2022.” The marathon will air from 7:00 p.m. (EST) on Wednesday, November 8, until 2:00 a.m. Thursday, November 9.

“Decision 2022” will track live election results in races across the nation and will also include all major acceptance and concession speeches in the U.S. Senate and U.S. House elections. Salem teams will be stationed across the country with Mike Gallagher in The Upstate, South Carolina; Brandon Tatum in Phoenix, Arizona; Jennifer Horn in Los Angeles, California; Mark Davis in Dallas, Texas; Amy Jacobson in Chicago, Illinois; Joe Piscopo in New York, New York; Carl Jackson in Orlando, Florida; and other SNC, SRN News, and Townhall News personalities.

“This promises to be quite very possibly the most historic Midterm election and it will offer our audiences the first ever live broadcast partnership between our ground-breaking Salem News Channel and the Salem Radio Network nationwide,” said Tom Tradup, SRN vice president of News & Talk Programming.

During the first five hours of the feature, SNC’s Andrew Wilcow and SRN’s nationally syndicated talk hosts Hugh Hewitt and Dr. Sebastian Gorka will anchor live coverage with key analysis from Gallagher, Tatum, and other guests, live from midterm watch parties. Chris Stigall of “AM 990 the Answer” WNTP Philadelphia will be covering the pivotal Pennsylvania Senate race.

From the Decision Desk in SRN’s Washington bureau, SRN News White House correspondent Greg Clugston will provide watchers with breaking news throughout the evening. SRN host Eric Metaxas, president of Job Creators Alfredo Ortiz, and senior vice president of the Association of Mature American Citizens (AMAC) will also partake in early coverage.

At midnight eastern time, the election day marathon will transition to the “870 AM The Answer” KRLA Los Angeles studios for continued coverage anchored by Jennifer Horn, host of “The Morning Answer” on KRLA and “AM 590 The Answer” KTIE Riverside and KRLA news anchor Larry Marino; Don Dixon will anchor live from the California Election Night Desk.

In addition to the SNC and SRN programming, SRN News and Townhall News will provide live updates during broadcasts at the top and bottom of each hour. If a decision has been made on which political party will control Congress and the ballot counting has yet to be concluded, Salem has set to repeat portions of its earlier election coverage between 2-6 A.M. ET. Beginning at 6 A.M. ET, Hugh Hewitt will return with his weekday morning program to pick up live continuing coverage and updates the morning after.

Last month, Salem Media hosted its 2022 “Battleground Talkers Tour” aimed at helping listeners and voters to understand the importance of voting and the significance of the issues at hand. From October 16-23, a power-packed slate of Salem hosts and personalities made stops in Tampa, Orlando, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Columbus, Cleveland, and Phoenix, talking to voters about the issues and broadcasting their radio and TV shows live on location.

“I do not think we have ever seen the kind of energy and excitement that we have witnessed now building up to the November 2022 election. Getting our hosts in front of our listeners and viewers and encouraging them to vote wisely is something each of our hosts is passionate about doing,” said Phil Boyce, Senior Vice President of Spoken Word for Salem Media Group in a press release. “There has never been a more important mid-term election than this one, and Salem is thrilled to be front and center, leading the charge.”
