Innovative pastor, renowned author, and global influencer Rick Warren is scheduled to speak during Proclaim 19, the NRB International Christian Media Convention in Anaheim, California.
Proclaim 19 will take place March 26-29 at the Anaheim Convention Center, while NRB’s award-winning Exposition – featuring around 200 exhibitors – will open March 27-29. The annual Convention is the largest nationally and internationally recognized event dedicated solely to assisting those in the field of Christian communications.
“We are so blessed to have Rick Warren join us in Anaheim for Proclaim 19 as our association celebrates its 75th anniversary,” said Dr. Jerry A. Johnson, president & CEO of NRB. “Through his church, ministries, and books, Rick has helped and inspired so many. We look forward to having him with us this March, and we look forward to seeing how he’ll encourage Convention attendees in their work and their daily walk with God.”
As a pastor, Warren founded Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, California, in 1980 with one family. Today, it is an evangelical congregation averaging 30,000 weekly attendees across 16 locations, including four international campuses, and an online campus hosting listeners from around the world. Saddleback also has more than 300 community ministries, including the nationally recognized Celebrate Recovery, a Christ-centered recovery program now implemented in more than 25,000 churches.
Warren’s radio and broadcast ministry, Daily Hope, seeks to bring the Gospel to the 2,900 remaining unreached people groups around the world. More than 700,000 subscribers receive practical wisdom from God’s Word through Warren’s Daily Hope Devotional. Warren also leads the Purpose Driven Network of churches, a global coalition of more than 400,000 pastors and priests in more than 160 countries. In addition, his New York Times best-selling book Purpose Driven Life has sold more than 32 million copies, and has been translated into 85 languages
