Press Conferences Scheduled for NRB 2020

Press conferences will be held daily by various groups during the NRB 2020 Christian Media Convention in Nashville, Tennessee.

Below is a preliminary list of press conferences, along with details and contact information. Every press conference will take place in the Delta A Lobby of the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center.

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 26

Emunah Israel

Prominent Jewish Religious Organization to Host First Christian Leadership Summit to Holy Land

Emunah Israel will host a delegation of Christian leaders November 7-15, 2020, to Israel. Invited guests will include clergy and lay leaders from various Christian denominations and ministries. Participants will visit Emunah projects and facilities, engaging with the children and families who benefit from Emunah’s programs and aid, along with visiting exclusive sites in the Holy Land. With more than 160 projects across Israel, Emunah (which means “faith” in Hebrew) provides direct services to more than 12,000 individuals daily through its network of subsidized childcare centers, schools, crisis counseling centers, and residential homes for abused, neglected, and abandoned children.

The Leadership Summit is an opportunity to build bridges and forge relationships between religious Jews and Christians based on common interests and philanthropic goals. Joining the Summit will be the winner of the NRB Emunah Raffle Prize, titled “Turn Your Faith into Action.”

American Heritage Girls

For more than two decades, Patti Garibay has been at the forefront of countering the culture by leading girls and women in creating lives of integrity. She is the Founder and Executive Director of American Heritage Girls (AHG), a national Christ-centered leadership and character development program. Birthed from her passion and work helping thousands of girls discover their true identity and purpose in Christ, Garibay created Raising Godly Girls (RGG).

The RGG platform includes inspiring blog posts and radio features that cover relevant girl-centric topics ranging from body-image to bullying. Now in her upcoming autobiography, Garibay gives readers a glimpse into her journey from AHG’s humble beginnings around a kitchen table in Cincinnati, to the development of the AHG Ministry, the Raising Godly Girls platform, and all of the hills and valleys in between.

American Heritage Girls is dedicated to the mission of building women of integrity through service to God, family, community, and country. Founded in 1995 in Cincinnati, Ohio, AHG has grown from ten Troops and 100 members to more than 52,000 members across 15 countries and 50 states. Girl Members participate in Badge Programs, service projects, leadership opportunities, and outdoor experiences, all with an emphasis on Christian values and family involvement.

Israel Ministry of Tourism

The Israel Ministry of Tourism cordially invites all members of the press to join them on a press conference to be held on February 27 at 10:30 a.m. at the NRB 2020 Christian Media Conference.

Tourism to Israel has achieved a record number of 4.5 million visitors in 2019 – the largest market for Israel being the United States, bringing hundreds of thousands of Christian visitors. This press conference will be an opportunity to hear the State of Israel’s Senior Tourism Diplomats in North America discuss the latest and most exciting news about visiting the birthplace of Christianity. There has never been a better time to visit Israel; over the past year new direct flights were announced, new hotel developments were launched, and many other improvements continue to make the Land of the Bible a must-visit destination for Christians.

Israel Ministry of Tourism (IMOT) is Israel’s government tourism board. Its mission is to promote, brand, and market travel to Israel throughout various channels including advertising, media relations, marketing, support for tour operators and travel consultants, airlines, and other travel partners. Its national HQ is in NYC and its regional offices are located in Atlanta, LA, Chicago, and Toronto.

Bloom In The Dark, Inc.

Bloom in the Dark, a 501c3 production company that uses media to offer hope and healing to those wounded and broken by abuse, addiction, and loss, announces a new division: Bloom Broadcasting.

Having successfully produced and distributed two television shows, which can be viewed on 17 networks around the world, Bloom has seen the need for a central media resource that brings light to shame-based subjects.

Bloom Broadcasting will provide quality content from a range of production companies that will focus specifically on providing hope and healing for hurting individuals.
