The panel will be moderated by John Jessup, CBN’s Washington, D.C. deputy bureau chief and 700 Club news anchor. Jessup serves as the main news anchor for CBN, contributing to the “700 Club,” “Faith Nation,” and other CBN programming, domestically and internationally. When he’s not on-air, John helps to lead the Washington, D.C.-based news operation as the deputy bureau chief – managing a team of reporters, editors, and photographers who cover newsmakers at the White House, Capitol Hill, and other prominent figures in and beyond the Beltway. His work in broadcast news has earned several awards in reporting, producing, and coordinating elections coverage. Previously, John worked at NBC affiliates in Missouri and Arkansas.
- David Brody, CBN News chief political analyst. For decades, Brody has interviewed many prominent figures across the political spectrum. He has provided on-air political analysis for CNN and Fox News, been a panelist on NBC’s Meet the Press, and authored two books. He has been profiled in The New York Times, The Washington Post, and the Los Angeles Times, and served as a guest op-ed writer for The New York Times and USA Today.
- Chris Mitchell, CBN News Middle East bureau chief. Mitchell established the CBN News Middle East Bureau in August 2000. Since then, he’s covered the major events in the region from the Second Intifada, the rise and fall of ISIS, to Israel’s current war with Hamas. He also told the story of the persecuted Christians from the Middle East. Mitchell also serves as Executive Producer of “Jerusalem Dateline,” a weekly program covering the Middle East. “Jerusalem Dateline” is translated into multiple languages and seen in many countries. Mitchell’s goal is to report with a Biblical “understanding of the times” like the Sons of Issachar described in I Chronicles 12:32.
- Abigail Robertson, CBN News White House correspondent. Robertson serves as the White House Correspondent for CBN News, where she has worked since 2015. As a reporter, Abigail covers stories from a Christian perspective on American politics and the news of the day. Her favorite part of her job, however, is not just interviewing the people involved in the news stories she covers, but praying and fellowshipping with them, too. She is passionate about bringing hope to today’s headlines and showing positive ways the body of Christ is stepping up to respond to some of the biggest issues of our day.
- George Thomas, CBN News senior international correspondent and co-anchor.
