#NRB2023 Forum to Discuss How Christians Are Framed in Today’s Media

NRB | May 4, 2023 | NRB News

On Tuesday, May 23, in Orlando, Florida, an NRB Forum titled “How Christians Are Framed in the Media Today” will welcome a panel of media leaders from CBN, Fox, The Washington Times, and Just The News to explore how free speech, public policy, and truth in media are impacted and even obliterated by false and misleading depictions of the Christian faith. Armed with inside knowledge about how the media functions, the leaders in this NRB Forum will identify and unpack these misrepresentations and suggest steps that Christians can take to help restore truth and integrity to the media’s depiction of Christianity.

The robust discussion will be moderated by author and CBN News digital media host Billy Hallowell. Hallowell is a digital TV host and interviewer for Faithwire and CBN News and the co-host of CBN’s “Quick Start Podcast.” He has written four books, including “Playing with Fire: A Modern Investigation into Demons, Exorcism, and Ghosts,” and “The Armageddon Code: One Journalist’s Quest for End-Times Answers.’” He was formerly the director of content and communications at Pure Flix and the former faith and culture editor at TheBlaze.
