NRB Welcomes Twenty–Nine New Members

WASHINGTON, D.C. (NRB) – The National Religious Broadcasters (NRB), the world’s largest association of Christian communicators, is pleased to announce the addition of twenty-nine organizations and individuals as new NRB members in the first quarter of 2024.

“We are proud to welcome twenty-nine new members into the NRB family,” said Troy A. Miller, President & CEO of NRB. “Their extensive experience and dedication to excellence in faith-driven media and ministry will undoubtedly enrich the NRB community and inspire others in their commitment to Christian communications.”

Abundant TV 

In May 2022, Rob and Kristen Patz launched the OTT Christian television network Abundant TV. The goal of Abundant TV is to use the latest technology to spread the Gospel to all corners of the world. The network is found on every major app-driven service and on the Faith Satellite Network in Australia. Rob and Kristen host a weekly television program, called the “Rob and Kristen Show,” on the network, and a podcast, called “The Abundant Show.” They also own a terrestrial radio station, WPIL (Gospel Mix 91.7 FM), in Alabama and publish SGNscoops, a magazine that provides southern gospel music news.

Counteract USA

Counteract USA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to emboldening Christ-followers to counteract the culture with grace and truth according to Scripture. Founded by Abigail DeJarnatt and Allison Paris, the organization aims to equip believers, particularly Gen Z Christians, to counteract societal challenges by establishing small groups across the country for discussions, prayer, and fellowship. Through initiatives like the Counteract podcast, cell gatherings, worship nights, and their annual “Resolve to Stand Conference,” Counteract USA fosters a community where members can confidently navigate socio-political discourse while staying rooted in biblical principles.

EPIC Agency, LLC

EPIC Agency, LCC, led by Founder and CEO Jennifer Willingham, delivers comprehensive public relations, integrated marketing, design, social media, and lead generation services. Partnering with purpose-driven organizations, EPIC has a mission to advance the Gospel through excellent strategic communications and marketing. The agency’s track record includes helping nonprofit clients raise over $200 million, generating over $3 billion in revenue for its clients, and assisting 100+ authors in landing on the New York Times Best-Seller list. Harvest TV

Harvest TV, an international Christian-based broadcast television network licensed by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and headquartered in Trivandrum, India, is one of the world’s largest religious television networks. The network broadcasts programs hosted by various global Christian ministries offering a range of original content, including children’s programming, Bible studies, Christian news, live broadcasts of Christian events, Sunday worship, prayer time, testimonies, talk shows, and faith-based films. Harvest TV operates multiple channels targeting different demographics, such as Harvest TV 24×7 Christian channel, Harvest USA, Harvest TV Kerala, and Harvest Worship. The mission of Harvest TV is to spread the glory of Jesus Christ to as many souls as possible. Imagine Three-Twenty

Imagine Three-Twenty partners with churches, radio ministries, and various businesses to grow their dreams and achieve their goals by offering a variety of services, such as mentoring/executive coaching, strategic planning, leadership training and development, hosting and coaching on-air fundraising, and more. They also offer practical help, by planning marriage conferences, providing pulpit relief, and leading worship services. Imagine Three-Twenty empowers Christian media leaders to envision and execute God’s purpose and offers executive coaching to bring health to the structure and strategy of their client organizations. Imagine Three-Twenty is led by Rich Hooper, who has over 30 years of radio industry experience and has held positions at stations such as KCBI, KLTY, and KTXG.

Mission Town Media LLC

Worship Leader Media (WLM), under Mission Town Media LLC, has a mission to exalt God and join those called to lead in sung prayer and the service of worship with the express purpose of building the house of prayer for all nations and generations. Founded over 40 years ago, WLM has evolved into a multimedia platform including “Worship Leader” magazine, “The Walk” podcast, Song Discovery, and more, with further TV, radio, and online expansions planned. Additionally, the National Worship Leader Conferences and Worship Leader Institute, an online learning platform, contribute to the organization’s commitment to inspire, encourage, and equip church leaders to make informed decisions and create a participatory culture within their worship communities.

Speak the Word

With a mission to equip God’s people to win their battles against the enemy of our souls, Speak the Word Ministries (STWM) is a “ministry of integrity with strong beliefs in the infallible word of God.” Currently, Speak the Word Ministry reaches around 300 radio stations, maintains a YouTube channel and podcast, and conducts internet broadcasts worldwide. Pastor JoAnne Ramsay, the Founder and President of STWM, is also venturing into television with her new broadcast, “Make the Word Alive, With Pastor Jo.” Pastor Jo has also authored three books, including the recently released “I Believe God,” and ten booklets. Her ministry, inspired by Matthew 8:8, seeks to train God’s soldiers to be warriors proficient in wielding the sword of the spirit and exercising their authority in Christ Jesus.

Vanguard Marriage and Family Advocates

Founded by the Revs. Jerry and Kate Angelo, Vanguard Marriage and Family Advocates is a nonprofit organization based in Springfield, Missouri. They provide resources, prayer, and community initiatives to strengthen marriages and families. The co-founders, both credentialed ministers with the General Council of the Assemblies of God, collaborate with local leaders and ministry partners to create a cultural movement that honors, inspires, and empowers marriages and families through teaching, training, coaching, and events. Vanguard outreaches include “Marriage Minute” and “The Prayer Initiative.” In addition to a podcast, “Marriage Minute” focuses on grassroots strategies to strengthen marriages and empowers faith leaders and churches to be self-sufficient and balanced in marriage ministry. As part of “The Prayer Initiative,” Vanguard organizes statewide prayer events.

The Wynn Network LLC

The Wynn Network LLC is a family-owned and operated multi-OTT platform of inspirational streaming media that launched in 2017. With over 20 years of experience in media, radio, and television, the network’s mission is to provide a platform for broadcasters and inspirational entertainment for viewers. They deliver high-resolution content focused on faith, family, and fun entertainment, available on various devices and platforms. The platform reaches 380 million homes globally. President and Owner Dr. John Wynn brings nearly 30 years of experience in film and television production, church and pastoral administration, and education to his role. In June, John opened Wynn’s Network Plus, a brick-and-mortar video rental venue, coffee shop, bakery, and nostalgic hangout in Sugar Land, Texas.

The Charlotte Lozier Institute (CLI) serves as the research and education arm of Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America and is the nation’s premier scientific authority on life issues. Named after Dr. Charlotte Denman Lozier, a 19th-century feminist physician, CLI leads the pro-life movement by conducting groundbreaking scientific, statistical, and medical research. With a network of over 70 Associate Scholars who are credentialed experts in various fields, CLI aims to inform policymakers, the media, and the public about the value of life from fertilization to natural death. The institute focuses on diverse life issues such as abortion, women’s health, prenatal diagnosis, perinatal hospice, stem cell research, and more. Daniel Garcia, known as “The Walking Man,” served in the US Marine Corps and law enforcement before embarking on a remarkable journey, walking over 52 million steps across six continents since 1996.  Established in 2006, Global Walk continues to support Danny and supporters, walking and praying for children and world peace. Global Walk produced the World Changers Concert, an event to honor and thank God, veterans, first responders, and their families. Mill Creek View LLC 

Mill Creek View LLC was founded in 1991 by 82nd Airborne veteran and journalist Fred Fillbrook. Delivered door-to-door, the publication promotes truth and patriotism. In 2022, after Fillbrook passed away, Steve Abramowicz became CEO and Editor-in-Chief. The publication has grown to 20,000 subscribers in Mill Creek, Wash., with added readers in 30 other communities. MCV also offers an e-newsletter and two podcasts hosted by Abramowicz, covering news and interviews, with special editions for Florida, Tennessee, and Washington.

TalkDr Christian Counseling 

TalkDr Christian Counseling, founded by Dr. Michael Walsh Gannon and Michelle Gannon, offers Christian counseling with a focus on personal growth, emotional well-being, and resilient relationships. Dr. Gannon, a top-rated counselor with over 30 years of experience and a former pastor, leads diverse therapy options, including individual, marriage, family, and group therapy. Union Gospel Mission Dallas 

Founded in 1949 as a ministry to the homeless, Union Gospel Mission Dallas is committed to transforming lives and ending homelessness one person at a time. Originally a street ministry initiated by Christian businessmen who would tell the poor about God’s love for them, the mission has evolved into a comprehensive organization with two shelters: Calvert Place Men’s Shelter and Center of Hope (Shelter and Housing for Women and Children). These facilities provide safe shelters for more than 700 men, women, children, and veterans annually. Led by CEO Bruce J. Butler, the organization also offers faith-based rehabilitation programs, job training, transitional support, and more, and collaborates with partners to deliver food, shelter, clothing, transportation, job readiness training, counseling, healthcare, and temporary and affordable housing to those in need.

Angela Meredith 

In her role as chief financial officer at TakenTV, a Christian streaming network dedicated to producing Christ-centered programs, Angela Meredith collaborates behind the scenes with Christian recording artists and TV personalities. Meredith is also the founder and executive director of W3 – Women’s Whole Worth Network, a TakenTV initiative. W3 is a faith-based women’s media network that focuses on enhancing the lives of women by providing resources, bible studies, encouragement, and daily inspirational messages and programs. Meredith describes her journey as God-led, and it is her prayer that every woman knows her worth to God, her family, and herself.

Betty Sullivan 

Betty Sullivan is the founder of Have A Chat Productions, LLC and Architessa. Established in 2009, Have A Chat Production’s mission is to produce entertaining content, namely films, that glorifies God and uplifts women through themes of faith and overcoming challenges. Over the years, she has achieved success in scriptwriting, contributing to projects such as “The Farmer and the Belle: Saving Santaland” which received more than 41 million views on Amazon. Simultaneously, she serves as the CEO of Architessa, a certified women-owned tile and stone company with a mission to source materials globally to create elevated spaces that evoke emotion. Architessa engages in philanthropy through Washington Cares, a faith-based nonprofit “that delights in serving the community just as our Savior served.”

John Lewis

For 15 years John was the live video and technical director for the TV show “Back to The Altar.” He has been the acting coach and assistant director for many theatrical productions, in charge of 100 to 250 cast members at their church. Recently, John and his wife Jet had the honor to be executive producers for a sex trafficking film, “MAYA,” alongside Robert Craig Productions, bringing more awareness to this rapidly growing tragedy. “MAYA” has earned many awards at countless film festivals across the country and was released internationally in January 2024. John and his wife have also taken on the role of executive producers for the upcoming film “No Address,” set to hit theaters in the fall of 2024. Lewis is a member of MOVIEGUIDE® and a board member and treasurer for the Robert Craig Films Foundation.

Mark Jenkins 

Mark Jenkins is a seasoned figure in the realm of Christian media and ministry. Notably, he served at Grove Avenue Baptist as the executive producer of “The Victory Hour” for over three decades. Collaborating with former NRB Chairman Bill Skelton, he established Words of Victory Ministries to enhance the management and distribution of the program. During this time, after joining NRB as a company member, Mark joined the NRB President’s Council and was active for many years. In 2020, he stepped down as President of Words of Victory to serve as the U.S. Representative for Christian Friends of Yad Vashem. Presently, he contributes as a trustee for The Friends of Israel Gospel Ministries and leads a new media outreach for a growing church in central Virginia, Berea Baptist Church.

Natchi Lazarus   

Natchi Lazarus is a seasoned digital and social media marketing consultant with a focus on serving nonprofits, churches, and faith-based ventures. As the author of the best-selling book, “The Connected Church,” Lazarus is also the co-founder of Connected Church Academy and Open Minds Digital Agency. Connected Church Academy, an online learning platform, aims to educate and empower Christian nonprofits, churches, and faith-based organizations in digital, social media, and technology to help fulfill their specific calling related to the Great Commission. Open Minds Agency is a digital marketing agency passionate about web, mobile, and social media that works with startups, small businesses, SMEs, and nonprofits. Lazarus is also a keynote speaker and host of the Connected Church podcast.

Stacy Washington 

Stacy Washington is a conservative on-air talent, hosting the daily radio program “Stacy on the Right” on SiriusXM’s Patriot Channel 125 from 9 pm to midnight ET, Monday through Friday. She is also the host of the daily news program “Stacy Washington Now” on Salem News Channel airing at 5:00 p.m. ET Monday through Friday. Washington is the author of “Eternally Cancel Proof: A Guide for Courageous Christians Navigating the Political Battlefront,” which is a call to action for Christians to get involved in politics, using the Bible as their guide. Washington is recognized for her contributions to journalism, receiving the 2nd Amendment Foundation’s 2018 Journalist of the Year award, and is an Ambassador for America First Policy Institute.

Cheryl J. Taylor

Cheryl J. Taylor, a member of The Brooklyn Tabernacle Church, actively supports the work of Christian communicators and ministries through her volunteer work. She has served in a variety of ways, including aiding Holocaust survivors, distributing clothes at the King of King Church in Jerusalem, delivering toys to orphaned children in Medellin-Colombia, attending events with Chosen People Ministries regularly, and participating in spiritual leadership roles at crusades with figures such as Pastor Greg Laurie and the late Rev. Billy Graham. In her professional career, Cheryl has a background spanning 27 years at TelevisaUnivision-Univision in New York City. In her role, she provides support to various leaders and manages the Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) annual report, ensuring compliance with FCC regulations.

Christine Johnson   

With over 25 years of experience in arts, entertainment, and media, Christine Johnson is a seasoned communications professional and co-owner and Director of Media Relations of Christopher Entertainment Organization. The Christopher Entertainment Organization is “a global arts and entertainment engine”™ maximizing time, energy, and intent by empowering artists to imagine, express and impact culture across traditional and emerging media and branding platforms. After graduating from the University of Alabama with a BA in communications, she began her career in Hollywood, working with industry professionals and later contributed to faith-based film and marketing in Nashville, working with companies such as Sony Provident. As a publicist and writer, she has promoted global brands, Grammy-winning recording artists, authors, and film projects, securing media visibility on various platforms, including CBN’s “700 Club.”

Joshua Dorlon

Joshua Dorlon is a media and content consultant with more than six years of business-to-business sales experience “working with TV and radio stations and nonprofit organizations promoting authors, speakers, and custom products.” Formerly employed with Charisma Media, he currently operates in a contract and freelance capacity under Dorlon REP, a company he founded. Joshua’s primary role involves collaborating with Christian content creators and ministries, assisting them in maximizing their content to better serve their audience and the body of Christ as a whole. Consistent with his experience, he also promotes authors and speakers, along with developing custom products, all while adhering to the company’s values of “honesty, integrity, and excellence in service with the utmost professionalism.”

Kim Gentry Meyer 

As a singer, songwriter, artist, and writer, Kim Gentry Meyer seamlessly combines her creativity with her Christian faith and commitment to animal welfare. Kim is recognized as Mrs. Massachusetts 2020, an International Acoustic Music Award winner, a 2023 Woody Guthrie Poet, and a USA Songwriting Competition finalist. Her recent album, “Herald,” weaves substance and scriptures into original songs and is complimented by her artwork—a painting as the album cover. Aside from her work in the arts and ministry, Kim holds a business degree and a social work master’s degree. Her nonprofit management experience spans 20 years, during which time she raised more than $25 million.

Paul Popov

Paul Popov, born in Bulgaria, is the son of prominent Protestant pastor Dr. Haralan I Popov and Swedish missionary Ruth Popov. At five, Paul experienced his father’s arrest by the communist secret police. This led to years of deprivation for the family in communist Bulgaria. After immigrating to Sweden, Paul committed himself to serving those facing political and religious discrimination. Paul played a crucial role in his father’s missionary work, particularly by smuggling Bibles and using radio to reach behind the Iron Curtain. In 1974, he moved to Canada, established Door of Hope International (DOHI) in Canada and became the International President in 1980. Today, Paul continues to volunteer as DOHI President. The focus of DOHI is to strengthen and rebuild the suffering church in countries where persecution and intolerance to Christianity exist. Additionally, Paul advises screenwriters working on the adaptation of his father’s book, “Tortured for His Faith.”
