NRB Welcomes Fifteen New Members

WASHINGTON, D.C. (NRB) – The National Religious Broadcasters (NRB), the world’s largest association of Christian communicators, welcomed fifteen organizations and individuals as NRB members in the third quarter of 2023.

“We are proud to welcome these fifteen new members to the NRB family,” said NRB President & CEO Troy A. Miller. “We look forward to standing with them and representing their interests as we work to maintain access for Christian communicators and advance excellence in faith-driven media.”

Appalachian Christian Network  

Of One Accord Ministry, a non-profit that has served the poor in the Appalachia area of NE Tennessee for 35 years as well as foreign nations, is launching a television network, the Appalachian Christian Network. The network will feature national programming, local Appalachian content, and the daily broadcast of one or two 60-minute evangelistic programs that share the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Encounter the Truth

Featuring the Bible teaching of Jonathan Griffiths, “Encounter the Truth” is a new program grounded in the desire that God’s word would go out into the nations to make disciples and empower Christians. Since its founding in 2020 with a single weekend broadcast, “Encounter the Truth” has grown rapidly and is now heard daily on well over 100 signals in the United States and Canada. It is also available on a variety of online media platforms, such as Spotify and Google Podcasts.

Iran Alive

Iran Alive broadcasts a 24/7 Christian satellite channel into the Middle East and Central Asia. According to an independent survey, Iran Alive is the most-watched Christian channel in Iran, with 7.7% of the population (6 million) stating that it is their favorite channel. Along with broadcasting, Iran Alive has planted one of the largest underground church networks in Iran. The church network hosts a training school online with more than 2,000 students equipping them to serve the Lord. Iran Alive’s mission is to “transform Iran into a Christian nation, one soul at a time.”

LifeZone TV

LifeZone TV offers a 24-hour-a-day, seven-day-a-week stream of Christian and inspirational programming that appeals to various denominations. With a mission to reach souls with the good news of Jesus Christ and to seek out every available means of distribution to a world in need of hope, LifeZone TV broadcasts NRB member programs such as Answers in Genesis, CrossTalk, In-Touch and a variety of member and nonmember programs like Hallelujah Hour, Deliverance Today, Heartwise Health,  Billy Graham Classics, music videos and movies to a worldwide audience. LifeZone TV broadcasts on Cable, Roku, on web, and other streaming platforms.

Moving Moments with Cindy Tang

Moving Moments with Cindy Tang” is a 60-second Bible-centric syndicated radio feature that connects Scripture to practical daily living.  Cindy uses real-life stories intertwined with spiritual truths to inspire, encourage and bring listeners closer to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ… ending each story with a call to action.  In the words of singer, song writer, musician and author, Michael Card, “Moving Moments is one of the best little jewels we have in Christian Radio. I think it’s the most well-crafted minute of Christian content I’ve ever heard.” On the air since 2018, the feature is currently broadcast globally on 1,000+ stations/signals including NRB members, the Moody Radio Network, TWR, CSN, and FEBC.

The NFluence Network

The Nfluence Network and its affiliate brands seek to influence the world with the Gospel of Grace. The Nfluence Network, led by Lucas Miles, acts as a central ministry hub for a variety of initiatives in pursuit of this endeavor, including The American Pastor Project, Global Pastor Outreach, SexChangeRegret.org, Nfluence Church campuses, and multiple award-winning faith-based media programs, such as NRB’s 2023 Television Program of the Year, “Church & State with Lucas Miles.” “We believe we’re called to bring the Gospel of the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ back into the mainstream culture of our society,” said Miles. Miles has attended the annual NRB Convention for over 9 years and has spoken on various panels at these conventions.

Richard Pearson Ministries, Inc.

In 1986, Richard Pearson had a spiritual experience that left him awestruck concerning things coming to North America, specifically the United States. It propelled him, a graduate of NRB member school Oral Roberts University, to serve on the OREA Board of Regents (21 years) and in other Christian leadership positions. After retirement, in association with Bible Discovery TV, Richard launched a nationwide, weekly television program, called “ProphecyUSA,” just 2 days after the COVID-19 pandemic was announced to America. This teaching program focusses on end times prophecy and America’s role. It airs on several US networks (including NRBTV, CTN, PTL, TCT), and 3 Canadian networks (Vision, Daystar and Beacon).

Cheryl Chumley currently serves as online opinion editor at The Washington Times. Chumley writes daily commentaries and hosts a twice-weekly “Bold and Blunt” podcast on news and culture items of the day from a Christian, conservative perspective. She is the author of four non-fiction books, the latest two titled, “Lockdown: The Socialist Plan To Take Away Your Freedom,” and “Socialists Don’t Sleep: Christians Must Rise Or America Will Fall.” She is also the author of the upcoming “Chloe’s People” series of Christian fiction books, the first of which, called “Chloe,” about a little girl raised in horrible circumstances who learns of God’s grace in wonderful ways, is due for publication in late 2023-early 2024. She is an in-demand public speaker and frequent media guest, a licensed private investigator and principal of Chumley Investigations LLC in Virginia, an active Army veteran, and the mother of four children.

Kristianne Wargo is a certified professional life coach, certified personal trainer, certified nutrition specialist, international best-selling author, motivational speaker, and contributor to the Huffington Post. Serena Dyksen

Serena Dyksen became pregnant at 13 after being sexually assaulted by her uncle. Her family chose abortion. Later, at 16, she became pregnant again, and she and the baby’s father, the man she married and is married to today, chose life. Serena is now an author, speaker, post-abortive advocate for women, and founder of She Found His Grace, an abortion recovery program and Christian ministry. By sharing her story, she empowers men and women to know their worth through Christ’s saving power.
