NRB to Host TV & Film Summit in Anaheim, California

NRB will be holding a TV & Film Summit in Anaheim, California, during its annual weeklong Convention,  at which featured speakers from across the TV and film industries will share their expertise.

Among those who will speak at the all-day event on Wednesday, March 27, are DeVon Franklin, president & CEO of Franklin Entertainment; Bobby Schuller, senior pastor of Shepherd’s Grove in Garden Grove, California; Erwin McManus, founder and lead pastor of Mosaic in Los Angeles; and writer, director, and actor Alex Kendrick of the Kendrick Brothers.

The summit’s sessions will cover topics including faith on the big screen and faith in front of the camera. Furthermore, the TV & Film Summit will devote a special session to “Women in Entertainment” featuring Jackelyn Viera IIoff, a partner at StarLighter Films and Entertainment; Jerilyn Esquibel, production coordinator for the Erwin Brothers; actress, writer, and director Shari Rigby-Wiedmann; and Evy Baehr, host of Movieguide TV.

Access to the TV & Film Summit is part of a full registration for the four-day NRB International Christian Media Convention, Proclaim 19. To register, visit nrbconvention.org. The Convention dates are March 26-29.

Day passes are also available, and a Wednesday day pass will give attendees access to the TV & Film Summit as well as NRB’s award-winning Exposition that day.

In addition, those registered to participate on Wednesday will be able to join NRB’s annual Pitch-a-thon, where filmmakers new and old get the opportunity to pitch their story, script, or finished product to a distribution company.
