On Thursday, Oct. 26, NRB President & CEO Troy A. Miller participated in a virtual press conference with the American Christian Leaders for Israel (ACLI) to discuss recent letters signed by Miller and 113 other leaders from 100+ organizations to challenge the Biden administration, the United Nations, and presidents of universities to exercise moral clarity in condemning terrorist attacks on Israel and antisemitism at home and abroad.
The call was hosted by NRB member and partner Dr. Susan Michael, USA Director of the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem (ICEJ) and Director of ACLI. The press conference included remarks from Miller and other Christian signers, including NRB Executive Committee member Star Parker.
“We condemn Hamas’ brutal and despicable actions against innocent [Israeli] civilians and international civilians who were visiting the country. These actions have no excuse and no justification,” Miller said. “We ask for continual prayer for peace in Israel. We recognize that this conflict could be stopped immediately if Israel’s enemies would recognize Israel’s right to exist.”
Miller added, “We continue to pray for all of those affected, including the Palestinians who have been placed in harm’s way by Hamas.”
You can read the finalized letters below:
- A letter to President Biden urging his continued support for Israel throughout the war.
- A letter to the UN calling for greater moral clarity and resolve by condemning the heinous terrorist attack and supporting Israel’s right of self-defense and efforts to free her citizens of this threat.
- A letter to the presidents of universities asking them to condemn antisemitism and provide greater support and security for their Jewish students.
