From September 15–16, 2024, the Jerusalem Prayer Breakfast (JPB) will bring together thousands of friends of Israel to support the nation and unite in prayer for Jerusalem.
Troy A. Miller, President & CEO of the National Religious Broadcasters (NRB) will deliver remarks. Taking place in New York, N.Y., the global prayer conference will coincide with the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
The prayer breakfast is a distinctive initiative led by members of the Israeli Knesset, founded by the former MK Robert Ilatov and co-chaired by former U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann. Its primary aim is to foster a dialogue between the Jewish and Christian communities, a vision that unfolds annually in Jerusalem and key international cities.
Year after year, the JPB has been a catalyst for change, bringing together government leaders and key influencers from across the globe. This transformative global prayer movement, rooted in the profound simplicity of Psalm 122, has not only united hearts in prayer but also shaped global policy.
The upcoming Jerusalem Prayer Breakfast in NYC will be the 21st event of its kind taking place outside Israel. Other history-making JPBs have taken place in London, Accra, Orlando, Singapore, San Antonio, Kampala, Basel, The Hague, Helsinki, Canberra, Bloemfontein, Rome, Tallinn, Dallas, Brasilia, Houston, St. Louis, Gold Coast, Australia, and Stockholm.
Other confirmed speakers include Israeli Ambassador to the UN Danny Danon, Ambassador David Friedman, Carter Conlon, Congresswoman Michele Bachmann, president of the World Jewish Congress Ronald Lauder, Israeli Members of the Knesset, and many more.
The tragic events of October 7 serve as a reminder of the importance of unity between the Jewish and Christian communities. As hostages remain in the dark tunnels of Gaza and the Jewish people continue to face profound trauma, Christians remain in prayer for God’s protection on the people of Israel, the return of all hostages, the unconditional surrender of Hamas, and a future of peace in the Middle East.
