WASHINGTON (NRB) – In response to the passing of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, the following statement was issued by Troy Miller, CEO of NRB, the nation’s preeminent association of Christian broadcasters and communicators:
“Our prayers go out to the family of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. We may not have agreed with her ideology, but she was a pioneer who shaped decades of jurisprudence in America. She was also a mother and grandmother, and our thoughts are with her family as our nation mourns her passing. We fully support President Trump nominating – and the Senate confirming – a new justice immediately. It is vital that the Supreme Court vacancy be filled as the nation faces unprecedented levels of restrictions on and threats to the religious liberty of millions of Americans.”
