NRB members have swiftly come to the aid of devastated communities in Maui in the aftermath of what is deemed to be the deadliest U.S. wildfire in over a century, with casualties surpassing 110 with hundreds still unaccounted for as of this writing. The NRB community is offering both tangible aid and spiritual support to disaster victims who are facing a catastrophe of unprecedented proportions on the island.

Samaritan’s Purse
Samaritan’s Purse is onsite offering relief and support to the affected areas. The organization is working in close proximity with local authorities and local churches. In partnership with Samaritan’s Purse, Billy Graham Rapid Response Team chaplains are providing wildfire victims with spiritual comfort. Their presence offers a source of solace to those grappling with the profound loss of loved ones and homes. Volunteer teams mobilized by Samaritan’s Purse are working tirelessly to assist homeowners in sifting through the ashes of devastated communities.
“Pray for our teams, that we would be the hands and feet of our Lord Jesus Christ,” said Samaritan’s Purse President Franklin Graham.
