Two Evangelical Christian advocacy groups, Christians Engaged and Family Policy Alliance Foundation (FPAF), recently merged to form a new organization with the goal to engage 1 million Christians in the upcoming U.S. presidential election and local elections nationwide. By combining their efforts, the organizations hope to drive cultural and legislative change in support of biblical values.
Christians Engaged, a non-partisan, nonprofit organization and NRB member, mobilizes Christian engagement in public life. The FPAF, the educational arm of the Family Policy Alliance, which was founded by NRB member Focus on the Family, boasts a network of allies in nearly 40 states and focuses on pro-family education and alliance-building.
“Together, we will train elected officials nationwide to view policy through the lens of the Bible and ensure victories on issues affecting families, life, and religious freedom,” said Craig DeRoche, FPAF’s president and CEO.
“We’re excited to move Christians into more active roles in politics and to advocate for Christian values influencing the local, state, and federal levels of government,” said Bunni Pounds, founder and president of Christians Engaged. “We believe we can inspire Christians to participate in these vital elections and help shape the future landscape of America.”
Prominent figures such as former Congresswoman Michele Bachmann and Jim Daly, president of Focus on the Family, also an NRB member, have applauded the merger, emphasizing the importance of faith-driven civic engagement in shaping the nation’s future.
“Followers of Jesus Christ have an obligation, responsibility, and opportunity to put feet to their faith by voting and serving in their communities,” Daly said. “History rests in the hands of believers, and turns on the hinges of seemingly small things, including our willingness to register and vote our values.”

Several other NRB members are leading local and nationwide outreach efforts to encourage Christians to participate in 2024 elections.
Coral Ridge Ministries
Coral Ridge Ministries (CRM), an evangelical Christian media outreach ministry, helps believers cast their vote with confidence and certainty according to God’s Word. They provide resources on the stance of each party and critical concerns set against the plumb line of Scripture. Find video resources from CRM about casting a vote at the following links:

Christians’ Duty to Vote
FRC Action / Family Research Council
The legislative affiliate of Family Research Council (FRC), FRC Action, seeks to educate and influence elected officials on Capitol Hill and in the states, activate their grassroots network, and mobilize voters on behalf of faith, family, and freedom. FRC Action provides resources to voters on party platforms, registration, election integrity, how to get involved in public policy, and more. They also provide information for voters to gain a better understanding of primary issues compiled through the lens of a biblical worldview.
iVoterGuide / American Family Association
iVoterGuide, a division of the American Family Association (AFA), researches candidates and their stances, provides candidate surveys and ratings, and develops online voter guides. The organization is the nation’s largest candidate research organization focused exclusively on information and mobilizing voters with biblical values. Their voter guides have been used by millions of faith-based voters for over a decade, resulting in more strong, faith-first candidates in office every election cycle.
My Faith Votes
Many Christians who are registered to vote fail to vote in presidential elections. My Faith Votes is on a mission to change these statistics by helping Christians vote in every election. The organization provides resources to activate Christians in prayer for the nation and its leaders, to gain a biblical perspective on current issues, and to prepare their vote in upcoming elections.
NRB applauds these efforts and urges the importance of participating in the upcoming elections and examining the issues at stake for the future of faith, family, and freedom.
Recently, NRB President & CEO Troy A. Miller commented that Evangelical Christians will “examine candidates’ records on immigration, pro-family policies, religious freedom, national security, federal spending, economic wellbeing, conscience protections, America’s support for Israel, and the traditional values we cherish as people of faith.”
“Every one of these issues is in play, and it is of the utmost importance that Evangelical Christians make their voices heard in November,” Miller added.
