Every day, NRB members apply excellence in Christian communications to the issues of concern in our nation and around the world. Two member organizations announced plans this week to launch new forays into daily news and analysis.
CBN Launches “Quick Start”
On Monday, June 13, the Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) will premiere a new podcast, “Quick Start,” hosted by Dan Andros with co-hosts Billy Hallowell and Tré Goins-Phillips. “Quick Start” meets listeners in the midst of their busy days with the tools to interpret the news from a Christian perspective. Beyond simply providing analysis, the show also aims to encourage, helping listeners hand the burdens of life to God and avoid becoming overwhelmed by a sense of chaos in the world.
“If you want to understand the news and get reporting that puts God at the center of it all, begin your day—starting June 13th—with the Quick Start podcast,” Faithwire announced. The show will release new episodes at 7:00 a.m. weekdays.
FRC Launches The Washington Stand
The Washington Stand, a new digital media venture by the Family Research Council (FRC), features news reporting and analysis, political and biblical commentary, and audio and video content. This new “FRC-branded outlet was created to address a void in the lack of a digital news outlet to help inform Christians from a biblical worldview,” a press release shares.
“Our objective with The Washington Stand is to equip followers of Jesus with truth and wisdom so that they can rest assured that they have the truth from a source they can trust,” commented Washington Stand editor-in-chief Jared Bridges.
NRB congratulates CBN and FRC on the launch of these brand-new media resources that deliver Christian insight on key issues and carry the historic truths of Scripture forward through digital media!
