Stu Epperson Jr. of Truth Network, an NRB member, and Jesse Connors of TrueLife.org recently launched “Share the Truth Now,” an evangelistic campaign to reach the lost for Christ.
“Share the Truth Now” seeks to make the practice of sharing your faith easy and accessible for everyone. At its core, the initiative encourages individuals to share the Gospel message with those they encounter in their daily lives.
“At the heart of ‘Share the Truth Now’ is the idea that the Gospel is for everyone, regardless of their background or beliefs. Our goal is to share the truth, the truth of the Gospel, with as many people as possible,” said Epperson. “People need to know that there is hope, and that hope is found in Jesus.”
“Our goal is to motivate Christians everywhere to make Jesus’s last command their first priority,” said Connors, referencing the Great Commission of Matthew 28.
According to Connors, the message conveyed through “Share the Truth Now” is concise yet soul-saving: “I may never see you again, so let me give you this card. It’s a website that proves Jesus loves you.”
The front of the “Share the Truth Now” cards provides a QR code to video responses to common questions non-believers ask. On the reverse side, an additional QR code is provided for believers and new believers alike to request their own complimentary cards to continue the movement.
In addition to its evangelistic outreach, “Share the Truth Now,” in partnership with True Life, is providing second steps for new believers by identifying a network of church communities that are ready and willing to welcome newcomers to the faith. Churches across the country are encouraged to sign up and become part of the “Share the Truth Now” church directory.
“Our approach is rooted in relationship-building, meeting people where they are, and showing them the love of God,” said Epperson. “The power of one person’s story of transformation can inspire countless others.”
“Share the Truth Now” has partnered with several NRB members, including GiveSendGo, Liberty University, Answers in Genesis, and Liberty Counsel, to get the word out and continue distributing evangelistic tools for free.
Ultimately, “Share the Truth Now” aims to support the formation of a long-awaited spiritual revival and continue bringing the “best and bravest voices in Christianity” together to equip Christians for evangelism.
The Truth Network has been an NRB member since 2000, and Stu Epperson Jr. currently serves on the NRB Board of Directors. To learn more about “Share the Truth Now” and to receive your first set of free cards, visit sharethetruthnow.com.
