On Wednesday, May 24, NRB 2023 convention attendees, NRB members, and faith and industry leaders gathered at the annual sold-out Breakfast to Honor Israel, a milestone celebration as the State of Israel celebrated its 75th anniversary in 2023.

The breakfast opened with music from Vesna Buehler, music director of the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem. Elan S. Carr, former U.S. Special Envoy to Monitor and Combat Anti-Semitism, and current member of the advisory council at Combat Antisemitism Movement (CAM), delivered an inspiring keynote address on the importance of supporting Israel and its people in today’s society.

“To confront our challenges today, we need unity, not just among the Jewish people, but among all people. One body with one beating heart,” said Carr. “With your help, we will build that future that our children and our grandchildren so need us to build.”

The event was sponsored by Combat Antisemitism Movement (CAM) a non-partisan, global grassroots organization that combats antisemitism, International Christian Embassy Jerusalem (ICEJ), an organization that offers humanitarian aid throughout Israel, and InGrace with Jim Scudder, Jr, the Bible teaching ministry of Jim Scudder, Jr.

The annual breakfast is a highlight of NRB conventions, providing attendees with a fresh perspective on the importance of the U.S.-Israel relationship and encouraging strong relationships between Christians and the Holy Land and its people.
