Radio 4VEH to Receive International Radio Ministry Award

Manassas, VARadio 4VEH will be presented with the NRB International Radio Ministry Award at the International Keynote Session on Tuesday, March 5, during the NRB 2013 Convention & Exposition in Nashville, TN.

The NRB International Radio Ministry Award is presented each year to an organization based outside the United States that excels in radio or audio ministry, exercising integrity and faithfulness to the cause of Christ, while demonstrating unusual effectiveness in impacting the target culture with the Gospel. This year, the judges named Radio 4VEH the winner of the award.

"Radio 4VEH is a ministry of OMS International that reaches, teaches, and serves through radio," noted NRB President & CEO Dr. Frank Wright. "Through Radio 4VEH, hundreds of thousands are being taught, encouraged, and inspired with a wide variety of Christian broadcasts."

Radio 4VEH is The Evangelistic Voice of Haiti, serving God and the Haitian people since 1950.

In a country where many people can’t read, Radio 4VEH is a daily lifeline, serving listeners with Bible reading and teaching; prayer and praise; news, health, and farming advice; community messages and more.

From its broadcasting center outside Cap-Haitien, northern Haiti, Radio 4VEH reaches up to one million listeners, broadcasting on AM, FM and on the Internet in Haitian Creole and French.

Through evangelism and distribution of solar-powered radios fix-tuned to Radio 4VEH, whole communities have been transformed with the Gospel.
