BGEA logoManassas, VAThe Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) will receive the 2013 NRB Media Award for Best Television Special Programming on Tuesday, March 5, at the NRB 2013 Convention & Exposition.

The NRB Best Television Special Programming Award is presented each year for a special that demonstrates a unique vision and perspective of an important current issue; displays the highest standards of quality, creativity and innovative content; engages the culture as an effective witness from a Christian perspective; and shows a compelling use of the medium from artistic and technical standpoints. This year, the judges named BGEA the winner of the award for “Always Good News: The Greatest Journey.

“The Rev. Billy Graham has always believed in using every medium possible to share the Gospel,” noted NRB President & CEO Dr. Frank Wright. “In communicating a unique vision and perspective of an important current issue, ‘Always Good News’ engages the culture as an effective witness from a Christian perspective.”

"Always Good News" is a program produced by BGEA that captures and communicates the transforming work of the Gospel to a “believing” audience using the latest docu-reality storytelling techniques, combined with special messages from Billy and Franklin Graham, and exclusive musical content.

This television special uses compelling storytelling techniques, beautiful music and stunning cinematography throughout to give viewers a transparent look at how God is using “The Greatest Journey” to change the lives of children all over the globe.
