Joni Eareckson TadaManassas, VA- The NRB Convention will feature a presentation by Joni Eareckson Tada, founder and CEO of Joni and Friends in Agoura Hills, CA, during the Awards Dinner at NRB 2013 in Nashville, TN, on Tuesday, March 5. 

“We are delighted to have Joni speak at NRB 2013. Her life of true faithfulness and trust in the Lord is a wonderful example to so many. I believe that her message will challenge, encourage and strengthen all those who attend,” commented NRB President & CEO Dr. Frank Wright.

In May 2012, the Joni and Friends radio program celebrated 30 years of broadcasting. This four-minute program of information and inspiration airs on more than 1,000 outlets and reaches one million listeners a week. A new one-minute inspirational program, Diamonds in the Dust, also airs daily on more than 800 stations nationwide. 

A 30-minute television version of Joni and Friends looks at people who inspire Joni by enduring the most difficult trials while continuing to trust in God. The television series has won three Telly Awards.

Joni has served on presidential counsels and committees and received many awards and honors. She has written over 70 books and received the Gold Medallion Lifetime Achievement Award in 2003 from the Evangelical Christian Publishers Association. Most recently, she is the recipient of the 2012 Breakpoint Wilberforce Award.

She has been interviewed or featured on TV shows such as Larry King Live and ABC World News Tonight, in print outlets including Christianity Today, the Chicago Tribune and the Los Angeles Times, and on radio shows including Focus on the Family and Family Life with Dr. James Dobson.
