Manassas, VA – Jim Daly, President and CEO of Focus on the Family, will receive the prestigious NRB International Strategic Partnership Award during the February 28th International Luncheon at the NRB Convention & Exposition.   

“Throughout the world, there is tremendous hunger for information and resources to strengthen the family,” said NRB International Committee Chairman Bill Blount. “In answering the call, Focus on the Family now operates in 136 countries through electronic media and 10 associate offices with in-country staff. They create localized broadcasts, conferences, resources, and counseling services, and supply media and materials to help families across the globe.”

Jim Daly assumed the Presidency of Focus on the Family in 2005 after 16 years with the ministry, including roles as Vice President of the International Division and as Field Director for Asia, Africa and Australia. Today, Focus on the Family’s global outreach efforts include offices in Australia, Canada, Costa Rica, Indonesia, Ireland, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa, Taiwan. Thousands of families each day are helped through radio programs, radio commentaries and curricula like “How to Drug-Proof Your Kids.”

The NRB International Strategic Partnership Award is presented to an NRB member that has forged an effective partnership with an indigenous ministry, marked by strategic planning and cooperation with indigenous co-workers, sensitivity to cultural distinctives, and an impactful Christian outreach in the target culture.
