CBN India to Receive NRB International Television Ministry Award

Manassas, VACBN India will be presented with the NRB International Television Ministry Award at the International Keynote Session on Tuesday, March 5, during the NRB 2013 Convention & Exposition in Nashville, TN.

The NRB International Television Ministry Award is presented each year to an organization based outside the United States that excels in television or video ministry, exercising integrity and faithfulness to the cause of Christ, while demonstrating unusual effectiveness in impacting the target culture with the Gospel. This year, the judges named CBN India the winner of the award.

"Through the use of the media and through humanitarian interventions, the Christian Broadcasting Network in India is touching the hearts of the people in India and winning them over to Christ," noted NRB President & CEO Dr. Frank Wright. "In fulfilling its purpose, CBN India has become a model of innovation, excellence and integrity. I congratulate the CBN team for their exemplary work!"

CBN India is reaching the nation of India with the Gospel of Jesus Christ through culturally relevant television programs. Since its first broadcast in 1994, CBN India programming now includes a daily Hindi show, Ek Nayee Zindagi, which airs on Star Plus, the number one national TV channel in India. CBN also produces Nireekshana in Telugu and Samadhan in Bengali, which air weekly on popular regional television channels. All of CBN India’s shows boldly proclaim the Gospel and all their hosts pray with the audience to receive Christ.
