BGEA Wins 2013 NRB Award for “Best Use of Short Form Video”

BGEA logoManassas, VAThe Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) will receive the 2013 NRB Media Award for Best Use of Short Form Video on Tuesday, March 5, at the NRB 2013 Convention & Exposition.

The NRB Best Use of Short Form Video Award is presented each year to a Christian radio station, television station, ministry or other Christian organization that has used short form online video (no longer than three minutes in length) for promotion of their message across the worldwide web. This year, the judges named BGEA the winner of the award for “Freed: A Poem by Ruth Bell Graham.”

“In less than two minutes, viewers of this video are presented with a compelling call to reach the lost with the Lord’s redeeming love,” noted NRB President & CEO Dr. Frank Wright. “The burden of the late Ruth Bell Graham for the lost is deeply felt through her poem, which is powerfully illustrated in this video.”

BGEA, founded in 1950 and still chaired by Evangelist Billy Graham, exists to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ by every effective means available and to equip others to do the same. Ministries include Franklin Graham Festivals, Will Graham Celebrations, My Hope World Evangelism Through Television, Dare to be a Daniel, Rapid Response Team Chaplains, Decision magazine, The Billy Graham Training Center at the Cove, The Billy Graham Library, and evangelistic programs for radio, television, and Internet. BGEA is headquartered in Charlotte, NC.
