The excitement of NRB 2011 continues with today’s sold-out International Luncheon. If you got your tickets in time, then you got in on a very special event! And did you hear about the announcements made at the NRB Press Conference? There’s a new NRB award, the Billy Graham Award for Excellence in Christian Communications. NRB’s Executive Committee has also chosen to honor NRB’s first Executive Director, the much beloved Dr. Ben Armstrong, by naming NRB’s Capitol Hill Office the Ben Armstrong Center for Media Freedom. NRB’s Executive Team also gave an impassioned defense of First Amendment freedom and the importance of having NRB stand in the gap for its members. If the airwaves don’t continue to be open and free, the Gospel of Christ won’t be broadcast here and around the world.

As the afternoon progresses, don’t miss the many incredible educational sessions that are packed into the next few hours. They will teach, encourage and inspire you. Check them out! And tonight, NRB 2011 participants will be blessed to hear from Ravi Zacharias, world-renowned apologist and defender-extraordinaire of Biblical Truth.

Finally, today’s events will end with the Night of Music. NRB 2011 will host Mark Lowry, Nicole C. Mullen, Micah Stampley, Circleslide, Byron “Mr. Talkbox” Chambers, Trin-i-te 5:7, and Karen Peck and New River in an unparalleled night of entertainment. So grab that cup of coffee and hurry to next event!p>
