Manassas, VA – Answers in Genesis will receive the prestigious NRB Best Use of Social Media Award February 26th at the NRB 2011 Convention & Exposition for the I Am Not Ashamed national media campaign.

“By providing the online tools, Answers in Genesis has rallied Christians to stand publicly and uncompromisingly on the Word of God,” said NRB President & CEO Dr. Frank Wright.  “From their Facebook page and blog to their Video Bible site—where participants can upload a video of themselves quoting Scripture—Answers in Genesis has creatively provided a forum for believers to demonstrate their passion for the authority of Scripture.”

Answers in Genesis (AiG) is a biblical apologetics ministry dedicated to enabling Christians to defend their faith and to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ effectively. The ministry promotes and trains others to develop a biblical worldview through a variety of programs and outreaches, including the I Am Not Ashamed national media campaign focusing on the Word of God and its power to speak for itself on relevant topics. AiG conducts 250 teaching meetings each year, hosts an award-winning website and produces the radio program Answers . . . with Ken Ham heard on 800 stations throughout the United States.

The NRB Best Use of Social Media Award is presented to a Christian radio station, television station, ministry or other Christian organization that through strategic planning has effectively used the technology of Social Media for promotion of a product, service, or group, thereby fulfilling the mission of the organization.
