SMPTE Moves to Streamline Metadata for Media

The Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE), the leading standards governing body for media & entertainment engineering, announced it has joined with the Media & Entertainment Services Alliance (MESA), a leading community of media technology executives, to co-develop the Language Metadata Table (LMT) standard.
