Class C4 FM Proposal Hits Interference At FCC

A long simmering proposal to create a new class of FMs designed to allow Class A stations to upgrade their coverage areas has run into interference of its own in Washington. Federal Communications Commission Chair Ajit Pai said Wednesday that he has been unable to secure three votes to advance the idea to the needed formal rulemaking next step.
