Belgium: Conference on persecution of Christian women worldwide

The Church worldwide must break the cycle of shame that forces persecuted Christian women to keep silent, according to an international conference held in Leuven, Belgium from June 1 - 3. “These women are being targeted for two reasons – because they are Christians and because they are women,” said Kate Ward of Release International, one of the organisers of Christian Women Under Pressure for their Faith conference.
