W Publishing Group, a non-fiction imprint of Thomas Nelson, Inc., is planning to release next month what Rev. Billy Graham considers his last book.
After Rev. Graham completed the manuscript for The Reason for My Hope: Salvation (W Publishing Group, 2013), he immediately began drafting another book on the subject of eternity. In Where I Am: Heaven, Eternity, and Our Life Beyond, Rev. Graham goes through each book of the Bible to explore what is said about the two roads to eternity – Heaven or Hell. Each short chapter examines the reality that every person chooses where to spend life after death.
“Many people teach today that the blood of Jesus covers all sin, regardless of whether the sinner repents or not. This is Satan’s lie,” says Rev. Graham. “Some believe they will automatically walk into Heaven when this earth life is over because God is love. That would negate the sacrifice Jesus made on the cross.
“Don’t be deceived, for God is not mocked,” the world renowned evangelist continues. “God is also a God of justice and righteousness. He is not preparing a place in Heaven for unrepentant sinners. While we have contributed nothing to God’s free gift of salvation, there is a condition to possessing it – we must confess our sin, turn from it, and receive Christ on His terms.”
Where I Am will be released September 29, 2015. Thomas Nelson/W Publishing Group (through its acquisition of Word Publishing in 1992) has been Rev. Graham’s trade book publisher since 1975, and has enjoyed numerous million-copy bestsellers with Rev. Graham over those 40 years. His most recent release, The Reason for My Hope: Salvation, is a New York Times bestseller.
Other titles by Rev. Graham include Angels, Peace with God, The Holy Spirit, Hope for the Troubled Heart, How to be Born Again, The Journey, and Nearing Home.
In November, Rev. Graham will be celebrating his 97th birthday. Over the course of his life, he has delivered the Gospel message to more people face-to-face than anyone in history and has ministered on every continent of the world, in more than 185 countries.
