Scam Alert: NRB Convention Attendees List and Hotel Reservations

Scam AlertMultiple companies have been contacting individuals and organizations claiming that they have the list of attendees for the NRB Christian Media Convention and that it is for sale.

However, NRB does not release or sell attendee lists of any type, and the only company that contacts attendees and exhibitors on behalf of NRB is MultiView Inc. Any offer you may receive for attendee lists is not legitimate.

Likewise, do not book your hotel room for the upcoming NRB 2021 Convention in Grapevine, Texas, from any source other than the link provided by NRB. Scammers and pirates have been contacting past attendees offering to make hotel reservations at discounted prices. Some have even claimed to be representing NRB or claimed to be on staff at NRB. These groups cannot offer less expensive rooms at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center and some guest who book through these groups have reported that reservations were never actually made on their behalf and their credit card was compromised. Only make your lodging reservations here.

If you receive any proposed solicitation that mentions NRB, and you are unsure of its origin, please email convention@nrb.org or call 202-543-0073 to verify that the communication you received was generated from the NRB headquarters or is affiliated with NRB.
