“This will be a cruise like no other,” said Focus on the Family President Jim Daly in a message to friends and supporters of the ministry. “We’re pulling out all the stops to bring parents, children and grandparents together to have fun and make memories together. It’s our way of celebrating four decades of helping families thrive.”

According to Focus, the 40th anniversary cruise will provide families a unique opportunity to experience the best of Focus events and Christian entertainment. From an exclusive Adventures in Odyssey 30th birthday event for the kids to quality speakers for the adults, the cruise will provide families with a fun, interactive, and memorable vacation.

Among the attractions will be a concert featuring a contemporary Christian artist; fun with Jim and Jean Daly, Dr. Greg and Erin Smalley, and Danny Huerta; teaching from Ray Vander Laan of That The World May Know and Del Tackett of The Truth Project; and a live Focus on the Family broadcast.

  • AquaDuck, a 765-foot water coaster that takes riders on a wet and wild journey with breathtaking views of the ocean and ship below

  • First-run Disney movies in state-of-the-art theaters

When the cruise anchors in Nassau, the capital city of the coral-based archipelago of the Bahamas, guests will be treated to private island exclusives such as parasailing, snorkeling, a water-play area for young children, and the Pelican Plunge – a 2,400 square-foot floating platform with two slides.
