Family Life has earned Charity Navigator’s highest four-star rating for the third consecutive year, signifying Family Life’s commitment to good financial stewardship, sound governance, and transparency.
"Only 14 percent of the charities we rate have received at least 3 consecutive 4-star evaluations,” remarked Michael Thatcher, Charity Navigator's President and CEO. “This 'exceptional' designation from Charity Navigator differentiates Family Life from its peers and demonstrates to the public it is worthy of their trust.”
Charity Navigator is the country’s largest independent evaluator of charities that seeks to guide intelligent giving in the philanthropic marketplace. It determines ratings for nonprofits by calculating a score based on key metrics for financial performance and policies for accountability and transparency.
“Every dollar that comes through to Family Life is a symbol of the giver’s trust – their trust in us and their trust in God,” commented Rick Snavely, Family Life’s President and CEO. “That’s why we take financial integrity very seriously. The Lord has a plan for our finances, to use the money to build His kingdom, and it’s our responsibility to submit to that plan daily.”
