American Family Studios, a division of the American Family Association, has produced a new uplifting and inspiring film about a wheelchair-bound young man whose father helped him overcome impossible odds and allowed the world to see his God-given potential.
I Am Potential follows the true life story of Patrick Henry Hughes, a talented musician who was born without eyes but dreamed of joining the high school marching band. Though Patrick Henry’s father, Patrick John, had dreamed of raising an athlete, he sacrifices all of his goals to help his son realize and achieve his dream.
“Their story is one of love, commitment, perseverance, and faith that will undoubtedly speak into many lives,” said AFA President Tim Wildmon. “American Family Studios has been honored to be a part of this project and bring this story to the world.”
This summer, I Am Potential debuted in theaters in Tupelo, MS, where the movie was filmed, as well as in Louisville, KY, and Evansville, IN.
On Sunday, millions had the chance to watch the amazing story of Patrick Henry Hughes and his dedicated father when I Am Potential aired on UPTV. The I Am Potential DVD is also available to order now at the AFA Store for $16.99.
