NRB Board Member Jay Flowers Now Managing Director at Grace to You Ministry

Jay FlowersJay Flowers, who serves on the NRB Board of Directors, the NRB President’s Council, and Pastor John MacArthur’s Grace to You ministry, has been named Managing Director at Grace to You.

Previously, as Director of Communications, Flowers directed the ministry’s radio and development areas.

In his new role as Managing Director, Flowers will be overseeing the day-to-day operation of Grace to You, and giving leadership to the management team as well as continuing to cultivate relationships with Grace to You radio partners.

Flowers has been part of the Grace to You media ministry for nearly 25 years.  He joined the staff as he was about to graduate from The Master’s College where Pastor MacArthur is President.  Flowers attributes the beginning of his spiritual growth to the teaching he received from Pastor MacArthur in the college’s weekly chapel services.

Today, he calls his work environment at Grace to You “a spiritual greenhouse,” as he is “[i]nteracting with God’s Word on the job on a daily basis, being exposed to John’s body of work, forced by the rigors of the writing process to think about Scripture more deeply, and working under the influence of godly leadership.”

Flowers says he looks forward to continuing to help sustain and nourish that “greenhouse” environment and give leadership to the work of what is the hallmark of the ministry of Grace to You: “unleashing God’s truth, one verse at a time.”

Grace to You was founded in 1969 as the media outreach for the teaching of God’s Word by Pastor MacArthur, who serves as President of Grace to You. Today, the ministry’s flagship program is heard on radio more than 1,200 times daily in the U.S. as well as internationally, including Canada, Europe, the Philippines, and South Africa. The Spanish version is heard just as extensively throughout South America.

Grace to You has been a member of NRB for more than 20 years.
