At the NRB 2014 International Christian Media Convention, iNRB (Intercollegiate NRB) student members will have the opportunity to compete in an all-new contest for a shot at a prestigious iNRB award and some prize money.
Building off the success of the 36:DA (Digital Audio) Challenge and the 36:DV (Digital Video) Challenge, iNRB will introduce the 36:DN (Digital News) Challenge on Friday, February 21, 2014, at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center in Nashville, TN – the site of the NRB 2014 Convention.
Participants of the contest will be faced with the challenge of producing an original NRB news report within a 36-hour time frame. Students will work in teams and are free to select their own style and genre of news story. In order to provide both a level playing field and a fun twist to the 36:DN Challenge, all student teams MUST incorporate the same set of parameters into their project. These parameters will be announced at the 36:DN Challenge countdown kickoff at 8:00 p.m. on February 21.
The digital news contest is open to students from all iNRB member schools. All participants, however, must be iNRB/NRB members. Furthermore, each school may enter more than one team in the contest, consisting of up to, and no more than, three members on each team.

The deadline to enter the 36:DN Challenge is 5:00 p.m. EST on January 31, 2014. The contest is sponsored by TWR.
