CBI Media Group has signed an agreement to acquire KVNT 1020 AM, its assets, websites, and tower site from Alaska Integrated Media, Inc.
Tom Steigleman, CBI Media Group’s General Manager, said, “We’re excited to add KVNT 1020 and its excellent lineup of local and national conservative talk shows to our group.
“CBI has a 30-year track record of successfully operating radio stations and creating value for our clients and listeners. I expect the trend to continue with KVNT,” he added.
According to Steigleman, CBI is already taking steps to improve the KVNT signal and is currently redesigning the studios in its “Radio Espresso” building to accommodate the needs of KVNT.
“[A]nd we are looking forward to a seamless transition,” he continued.
Based in Anchorage, AK, CBI Media Group owns and operates Z-93.7 FM, KATB 89.3, KJLP 88.9, and KCFT Television Channel 19 & 35.
