NRB members, partners, and friends—joined by a large virtual audience—gathered at the Museum of the Bible in Washington, D.C., on the evening of November 1 to intercede for America at the National Prayer Altar, a special annual event hosted by Pastors James and Sharon Ward and sponsored by Bott Radio Network, TLN Media, and James Ward Ministries.
The event centered around themes of humility, repentance, revival, and expectation. James E. Ward, Jr. of TLN Media and INSIGHT Church, Sharon Ward of TLN Media and INSIGHT Church, Jay Johnston of Family Research Council, Mark Pritchett of American Christian Trust, Paul and Fiona Arthurs of Wheaton Christian Center, Pelle Karlsson of American Christian Trust, Jorge Pina of JESUS Church, Bruce H. Clark of ADVANCE Church, Dr. Linda Smith of NRB, Hannah C. Ward of INSIGHT Church, Denise Cappucio of Concerned Women for America (CWA), and Philip Cappucio of Sound of the Trumpet Ministries led prayers at the event.
Speakers prayed for unity in the church and for all believers to be of one accord; for boldness for believers; for the nation of Israel, and for the Jewish and Palestinian people; for the U.S. troops, law enforcement, and first responders; for local churches and pastors, and for a harvest of souls across America; for righteousness, reconciliation and Biblical justice; for those in authority in this nation; for spiritual awakening in high schools and colleges, for Godly marriages and families; for the unborn; and for spiritual awakening and revival of the American people.
Between prayer segments, Brannon J. Carnes and the INSIGHT Church worship team led the gathering in songs of praise.
