Dr. Mark Jobe, President of Moody Bible Institute, will speak at the Opening Session of the NRB 2021 Christian Media Convention taking place March 15-18, 2021, at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center in Grapevine, Texas.

“We are excited to have Dr. Jobe join us in Texas to open our weeklong Convention,” commented NRB CEO Troy Miller. “A gifted and inspiring leader and teacher, Dr. Jobe is committed to God’s Word and believes firmly in the power that it has to change people and to change the world. We are looking forward to seeing his zeal for the Gospel ignite Convention attendees who are working to impact their audiences for Christ.”

For more than 30 years, Jobe served as Senior Pastor of New Life Community Church in Chicago, which he grew from a handful of people to around 7,000 people meeting at 27 locations throughout the Chicagoland area and in eight cities internationally.

Since January 2019, Jobe has served as the 10th President of Moody Bible Institute, a higher education and media ministry founded in 1886 that equips people with the truth of God’s Word. In addition, Jobe is the author of Unstuck: Out of Your Cave and Into Your Call, and the host of Bold Steps, a weekday program heard across Moody Radio’s nationwide network of stations.

At NRB 2021, Jobe will be among the more than 80 speakers, including Tony Evans, Founder and President of The Urban Alternative; David French, Senior Editor of The Dispatch; Phil Cooke, Producer-CEO of Cooke Media Group; Rita El-Mounayer, CEO of SAT-7; Bob Pritchett, CEO of Faithlife; Kelly Shackelford, President/CEO/Chief Counsel of First Liberty Institute; and Kristen Waggoner, General Counsel of Alliance Defending Freedom.

A must-attend event for Christian communicators, the NRB Convention annually draws thousands from across the United States and around the world for opportunities to network with influential Christian communicators; learn the latest and best insights and strategies from leaders in media, ministry, and policy; and draw the attention of prospective partners, supporters, customers, and media outlets.

Also among the highlights of the Convention is the Exposition – a bustling, one-stop hub for services, products, and organizations that can help advance your mission. Many organizations are expected to exhibit at NRB 2021, including Aberdeen Broadcast Services, Amazing Facts, American Family Association, CrossMedia/Lightcast, Faith Radio, Grace and Truth Radio, Ministry in the Marketplace, RCS, Response Unlimited, SCMS Inc., Shively Labs, SuperChannel WACX-TV, WATC, and Westar Media Group.
