Intercollegiate

PURPOSE

The Intercollegiate National Religious Broadcasters (iNRB) is committed to promoting excellence, integrity and networking opportunities in media. The iNRB seeks to provide a forum where members can network together to share ideas and goals.

Each year the iNRB hosts a series of meetings at the NRB Convention that allow students and faculty to learn more about the creative ideas and successes of other schools and programs. There are fantastic opportunities to hear from professionals in the secular and Christian broadcasting industries.

24-HOUR AUDIO, FILM, & NEWS CHALLENGES

The Intercollegiate National Religious Broadcasters (iNRB) runs 24-hour film, news and audio challenges on-location during the NRB Convention every year. We kick off the challenges at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday and the challenges end at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday. The entries are judged by professionals from the areas of Film, Radio, and Television, and awards are presented to the first, second and third place winners in the three categories during the NRB Convention.

JOB BOARD

NRB Students and NRB Member Organizations are encouraged to visit the Job Board located near the Member Center at the NRB Christian Media Convention. iNRB Member Students are encouraged to post their resumes and Member Organizations can post available positions (both at no charge).

FACULTY MEMBERSHIP – ELIGIBILITY AND BENEFITS

Faculty, whose college/university is not an NRB member, may qualify for NRB Associate Individual Membership, provided the school offers a non-broadcast communications degree program. Faculty approved as Associate Individual Members receive all the same benefits as NRB Associate Individual Members, as well as deeply discounted faculty registration rates for the annual NRB Convention.
