NRB president & CEO Troy A. Miller recently joined Tamara Scott to discuss his latest op-ed on the vital role of Christians voters.

“I like to say that one of the top exports we’ve had around the world is hope and the American dream, and that’s really built on the foundations of a Christian worldview,” Miller said. “So if we lose those, … our world is going to lose a lot, because there isn’t a country out there that has the kind of hope and strength that America does.”

Miller also talked with Stacy Washington on her show about an upcoming Jerusalem Prayer Breakfast in NYC in light of the recent killing of six hostages by Hamas.

“Our prayers and condolences go out to the families,” Miller said. “They were so close to having their loved ones home with them. … We, the evangelical Christian community, are still standing in solidarity with them, in prayer for them.”

Mike Farris, NRB general counsel, spoke with Jody Hice on Family Research Council’s “Washington Watch” about the history and application of the Johnson Amendment and the reasoning behind NRB’s legal challenge.

“We’re trying to reinstate the original vision of America, where churches could preach the whole counsel, the word of God, and not stop at applying that to the issues that are facing us today,” Farris said. “We are contending that not only is the law, just as it’s written, a violation of free speech, but as enforced, is discrimination and a denial of equal protection.”
