NRB president & CEO Troy A. Miller recently joined Eric Metaxas on his show to discuss the 2025 NRB Convention, the outlook for the upcoming election, and the state of religious belief in America today.
“Our Founding Fathers said that our constitutional republic would not work without a Christian nation that held onto those Judeo-Christian values and morality,” Miller said. “If you take that out, you see what you have today in America—this growing anarchy, crime, folks who do not love one another, and really don’t have any respect for life. These values have to be intrinsic in a person. The government cannot push those values on you, though they may try. All they can do is control you.”

Miller also recently spoke with guest host Alex McFarland on American Family Radio’s podcast “The Hamilton Corner.” Among other topics, they discussed cultural pushback to Christianity as well as Christian involvement in politics.
“I do think that the Christian voice still carries a lot of weight,” Miller said, “but it could carry a lot more if Christians were more active in the political process, or at least in the electoral process in the country that God’s given us.”
