Troy A. Miller, president & CEO of the National Religious Broadcasters (NRB), joined host Craig Syracusa on the show “Walk in Faith” to discuss the significance of NRB and the vital role of utilizing new media and technology to spread the Gospel and foster unity among Christians. The conversation also touched on various important issues affecting all Christians including AM radio, voting, and safeguarding religious freedoms.
“Media is today where we get most of our information,” Miller said. “It’s also been very influential on how we inform our opinions and our view of the world. So if Christians aren’t in that space, if we’re not out there talking about what values we hold, what principles we adhere to, and what the Gospel really means to people, then where are they going to hear it? We’re called to be salt and light in this world. Salt today is in media, and that’s where we need to be.”

In an opinion article published in Newsmax, Noelle Huizenga, NRB vice president of public policy & communications, wrote that women of faith must turn out to vote as “salt and light.”
“The 47th president of the United States will be empowered to advance policies that dignify women or policies that harm them,” Huizenga writes. “Women of faith must not stay home [on November 5].”
