Troy A. Miller joined Marc Lotter and Sharla McBride on Newsmax’s “Wake Up America” to discuss NRB’s recent launch a Veterans Ministry Initiative.

“We’re losing 17 veterans a day to suicide and to drug abuse and overdoses,” Miller said. “These people have served our country with honor, with valor, with dignity. They have protected the very freedoms that we enjoy.”

Because “veterans will oftentimes have a hard time getting back into civilian life,” he noted that “Christian veterans in the church is the ideal place for them to be, to gives them hope, a home, a mission, and purpose, … so we’ve created this initiative that has all the resources that these churches will need to… help these veterans,”

Miller also discussed the Veterans Ministry Initiative launch with NTD News’ Kevin Hogan.

“Veterans have some of the highest rates of suicide, addiction, divorce, and mental illness,” Miller said. “So, we have to work on that as a nation, and we owe these people more. … This initiative is to bring together the multiple veteran’s organizations around the country as resources to help churches.”

He also discussed the initiative with Perry Atkinson on theDoveTV’s “Focus Today.”

“What a better place for [veterans] to be… than in a church and to hear the Gospel, to give them that purpose, that mission, and that meaning and to have a family environment that loves them,” Miller said. “They’re some of the best people to serve in your church as well.”

Troy A. Miller spoke with NTD News about the future of over-the-air broadcasting and NRB’s fight to preserve access to AM and FM radio, citing Tesla’s move to remove both features from their entry-level vehicles.

“It’s really about who’s going to control the information in the dashboard,” Miller said. “It’s not about AM radio being antiquated.” He emphasized the stakes for the public, noting that removing AM and FM “disenfranchises a large number of society from being able to get to information simply because they can’t afford it.”

Miller also highlighted the role of broadcasters in serving the public, saying, “Our broadcasters… they’re worried about these technologies not being maintained and being unable to reach these people. … Congress recognized that there was a public interest obligation…that the people of all economic groups…could access that information.”

He also joined Joe Piscopo on his show to discuss his recent trip to Israel.

“I spent most of my time in Jerusalem and a few other cities, but if you didn’t know that there was a war going on, and here’s the thing, Joe, it’s a real testament to inside Israel proper. You have Christians, you have Muslims, you have Jews, you have some other faith, and everybody there was living together in peace, doing the things that they wanted to do, getting stuff done, walking around the city. I felt safer there than I do in New York City.”

Miller spoke with John Catsimatidis and Rita Cosby of 77 WABC about the rise of socialism and Islamist ideology in New York politics with the election of Mayor Mamdani.

“This is a two-edged sword here. You got on one side of that edge, you got socialism… and the other side of the edge, this guy is an Islamist… he does not believe that the Jewish people have a right to exist in the Middle East.”

During his time in Israel, Miller spoke with Kumar Singh Bist and Neelima Koirla on Upahar TV at the Christian Media Summit 2025 about NRB’s international outreach and support for Christian media professionals.

“What God has called you to do in Christian media, keep doing it,” Miller said. “You’re reaching people you may not even know, but someday may come up to you and say, ‘Thank you for that television, that radio, that podcast. It really helped me reach Christ.’”

Miller also addressed NRB’s role in supporting persecuted Christians globally: “Christian persecution is one of our top five issues at NRB. …We will not abandon our brothers and sisters around the world.” He emphasized the power of personal testimony for outreach, saying, “If we’re in Nepal, if we’re in Jerusalem, wherever we’re at, is to tell our testimony, to tell what God has done in our lives… be bold and be courageous to share your faith.”
