Troy A. Miller, president & CEO of the National Religious Broadcasters (NRB), joined host Perry Atkinson on “Focus Today” to discuss the 2024 election results and what the presidency under President-Elect Donald J. Trump means for Christian broadcasters.
“President Trump understands that faith is the foundation of this country,” Miller said. “I think we’re going to see an Administration that is going to have a number of policies that are going to further that across America, or at least get rid of the roadblocks… that were put to impede the advancement of Christianity.”

In a two-part interview, Miller spoke with Tina Yeager about the critical issue of maintaining freedom of speech and exploring why First Amendment freedoms matter to every individual and to society as a whole.
“Our founding fathers understood … that freedom of speech, freedom to share ideas … was fundamental to society, to culture, and to free people who wanted to have a self-governing environment,” Miller said. “And the other thing they understood was that right didn’t come from government. That right was given to us by our Creator.”
