On April 25, Troy A. Miller, President & CEO of the National Religious Broadcasters (NRB), joined host Byron Tyler on “Mid-South View Point” (Bott Radio Network). They talked top policy issues for religious broadcasters including the future of AM in the auto dash and an active petition from the National Religious Broadcasters’ Noncommercial Music Licensing Committee (NRBNMLC) before the Supreme Court on damaging disparities in webcasting royalty rates.

“I think the auto manufacturers would love to have you sign up for a subscription service,” Miller said of industry dynamics impacting radio. “We just think it’s important not to disenfranchise [80] million Americans that depend on AM radio.”

On April 26, Miller joined Jim Scudder on his show “InGrace Now” to discuss the escalation of antisemitism on college campuses, the Israel-Hamas war, and the plight of Israeli hostages in Gaza, offering a Christian perspective on how to respond to these issues. They also covered the National Day of Prayer and the ongoing battle to preserve AM radio.

“This Administration has in the last several months turned its back on Israel and has made the situation over there much worse,” Miller said. “They’re enabling the terrorists to continue to use these hostages as human shields, and the best thing that we can do as America is 100% back Israel and demand that nothing moves forward until the hostages are released and sent home unconditionally. We’re praying for God’s hand to bring these hostages home.”

On April 30, Miller joined pastor Jeff Schreve on American Family Radio’s show “Real Truth for Today” to discuss the AM For Every Vehicle Act, the Israel-Palestine protests across college campuses, the National Day of Prayer broadcast, and Miller’s leadership at NRB.

“We’re in a time now where we have to make sure that we agree on all the core principles of our faith… and work hard together to bring this country back by proclaiming the Gospel everywhere,” Miller said.
